OMFG! After watching that, I actually think that I actively hate this man and what he has become. Being a Live fan and watching that video is is like being a war veteran and watching the President piss on the flag.

I had already moved on from Ed. Then I cut all ties after his assinine remarks about how the Chris Cornell show didn't move him because there wasn't enough gospel music. Now seeing this reminds me of how this guy has shat all over something that was "sacred" to me.

It reminds me a little bit of how he sang the beginning intro to I Alone on the Live at Paradiso performance with that "Ooooh Yeeeeah [falsetto], Ooooh yeah Lord... Can I get a one....... got to have a two....." That pisses me off every time I hear it. It is like hearing my grandmother trying to do an impression of Adele trying to do an impression of Live. Screw him and screw anyone who supports his BS.

Ha ha. I hear you. I had already moved on too but I think I still had a spot for Ed as the guy who gave us such great music in the 90's. That was so bad it may have erased that memory. There have been so many bad performances, songs, etc the last 10+ years that I think it now overshadows his greatness early in his career.

I think it's funny that when he sings the verse 'pay me now' he's pointing at the crowd.

Absolutely they know how to perform well in a band and create music. The business side of things, so far they have not shown much. Movie and real estate? I'm not even going to go there.

To me it definitely sounds like a cleaned up recording. I've heard enough studio vs. live recordings to at least be able to throw out my opinion.

you're the same knob who said Ed Vedder lip-sync'ed on live TV. Ye Nick, you're a credible 'studio vs live' recording expert.

Tanner in Buffalo is 6 , guess who is favorite band is?? YUP! THE GRACIOUS FEW!
Nick in Stroudsburg is 14, him and his dad love TGF..
so if they gained popularity, I am sure they would fit a wide age bracket!

Oh the double standards are fantastic! It's posted that one guy says his friend and kid like TGF and you laugh like "big deal". Yet you offer up "proof" that Ed is fantastic by posting someone's review which in turn is just one man's opinion. We should laugh and say big deal. So somehow an example of someone liking TGF to you is seen as a one off and an example of someone liking Ed somehow shows that it's just one of thousands of people who feel the same way.

I like it! He have a good voice and sings very well. It seems he is very comfortable with the song too.

As been already said before, the true test will be the new material. I wonder what kind of lyric direction Live will take from now... Ed was very mistic and this always been the band trademark. I can't wait to discover!
