Why is it okay for you all to give your opinions but when nick does he's an asshole? jesus fucking shudddup.

It's not an opinion, he is prejudice, he was complaining en writing down that he would never like anything of the NEW LIVE before anything was released at all.

So all he is doing now, is keeping up his 'ego'!

and I'm pretty sure Nick never liked the original version of All Over You. Nick's version of LIVE begins and ends with SFBM and Alive.

Agreed. After all of these years I never thought that I would be excited for a new LIVE album. Can't wait!

I really, really like the song. Ed is gone, in more ways than one, and Live is moving on with a new lead singer. Does this guy sound like the right kind of voice for Live as they move forward? I give an emphatic YES. This song doesn't have to be compared to Live with Ed or the original recording. He doesn't have to sound like Ed or better than Ed. He has to sound good. The song has to sound raw, passionate and organic. And the band has to play the song like Live sounded many years ago when the band liked the music they were playing. This is all of that!

Knowing that Ed left, and it is not going to be Ed, I'd say they found the best replacement they could.

Stoked that this is getting such great reaction. I'd really like to see these guys move forward and succeed with Live again. It's not quite hitting me, yet. That'll probably change once I hear more or see them in concert. One thing is for sure, the band is fucking sick. I mean, they sound better than ever. To hear that this hasn't been cleaned up one bit is pretty amazing. I think that's what gets me about the vocals. It's not that I don't think they are good. The vocals are quite good. Maybe too good. What I liked about Ed and Live early on was the raw sound. What Ed and the guys lacked in ability or experience they made up for in raw energy. Not to say the vocals don't have that, but this is clearly an accomplished singer. The vocals are pretty clean to me. I'd actually like to hear them a little rougher. That's what I liked about early Live. Anyway, I'm sure I'll get over that, especially once we hear some new stuff.

Sounds good to me! Especially 2:45 onward.

Can't wait to hear other stuff.

PS: Fuck anything Nick has to say. The twat is anti-LIVE.

Exactly.

LIVE is about more than the individuals in the band - the spirit that's part of the music is what attracted so many of us and it's more than just a band to most of us.

We've been through the story over and over about Ed. Ed is gone - not part of LIVE anymore. Whoever this new singer is, he's really good - and the rest of the band think so too, so every LIVE fan out there should support him too.

Not true at all, it is definitely in my top 10 LIVE songs. My honest opinion is that this new version is a much lesser version of the old version. It is basically CCP trying to make their new singer sound like their old one.

In concert it will all fall apart if they bill it as LIVE.

By the way this little bit of info is HUGE, but it really is directed at Nick.

The recording is too clean to not have been mastered a bit in the studio. An actual live recording has a much more raw sound to it.
