Amazing that a song I have heard so many times can give me chills like it's the first time. The bridge quickly reminded me why this is my favorite band. The guys have found the passion again and hopefully they are enjoying their rebirth. Wishing the guys the best and I can't wait to hear what's next. Fucking awesome!

and I still am not sure why everyone on this board has not blocked Nick's post? They offer no insight and are just gibberish from a jaded fan.

The guy's voice doesn't seem to have much range and overall it honestly sounds pretty bland. I've heard better LIVE vocals at a karoke bar.

Fantastic. It is official. You are not a fan of what Live is doing anymore. We have heard your opinion and since you don't like it there is no reason for you to be here anymore. See you on the Ed board. I look forward to another thread started by you telling me where Ed is performing next. Not a single fuck will be given.

Also, if anyone from the band happens to wander into this thread, thank you for posting that clip.

Strong vocals indeed. The lack of vocal gymnastics is a good sign. The true test will be the new material.
And the waiting continues . . .

I want to block the dumbass, but I can't. I feel like if need be, I need to step up and defend the honor of Live, defend the honor of Chad, Chad, and Patrick, and knock his silly ass back down.

True but he is like one of those toy inflatable clowns that you punch and it comes right back.

I understand this entirely, but I cannot let it be allowed to roam free.

Not really feeling it. The band sounds better than ever though, almost enough to get me over the hump. Had I never heard Ed do the vocals I'm still not sure it would do it for me. Just doesn't have that special something that Ed did. Listening to this to me was about the same as hearing Ed and his backup band do Live songs. But damn the band sounds so good. I think the singer is more suited to BOP and SFBM era Live songs. Not that anyone wants to hear that from Live.

I don't think we're all listening to the same track, if that is what you heard.

It's ok if it doesn't grab you. Those are tracks to get the vibe going. There are more to be heard, new and old.

Just imagine a start of the gig, when the lights come down, the drum roll slwly starts. We hear a siren. And the lights suddenly ome back with the new frontman rushing on stag, grabbing the mic ad screamin "Take yer left on vine street..."

he's much more likely to be singing "its easier not to be wise..." instead if the start to Vine Street if these clips are any indication; def not giving up hope just really prefer they play the Born Brandeds and Don't Waits of the catalog instead of the hits
