sounds pretty good to me and sounds like Chris Shinn; i actually love his singing in Unified Theory so i can get excited about him singing NEW live songs

that being said, this is nowhere near the early live sound (there's a reason Live is Live and Unified Theory is Unified Theory) and I am still not happy that someone else is singing these songs...also, not promising that the first two snippets of songs we hear are selling the drama and all over you...i thought they were playing deep tracks...oh well

I don't think that is any cause to be yelled at, the only reason Nick is, is because of what come off as pre written statements that he's probably got saved in a word.doc on his desk top for these situations, his dissing of it didn't even really make sense. Your response is reasonable.

I wonder if they are showing ones like this, the more well known songs, to keep the more obscure of the Live back catalog of songs more of a surprise for tour time? Giving people a taste now of something new, but still very familiar and then then delve into the forgotten ones a bit later into the piece?

I'm the same, it doesn't really blow my world apart, I'm more excited to hear CCP ripping the song up with energy and vigor than the singing on the song itself. It doesn't have a straight away identifiable unique voice that Ed has, or had, when this song was released, but not a lot of people do.

Hence why I asked if some people that know Chris Shinn's work better than me are able to definitely pick it as him or not, since the people who know the answer for this are bound to secrecy and won't say.

I guess I'm not unhappy that someone else is singing these songs. I'm happy someone is singing them better than Ed can now. But I'm not happy that Ed can't continue to sing these songs as well as he used to, with the guys, but that's a pipe dream now.

I'm not yelling....your entitled to your opinion....hope you change your mind with upcoming songs. The only people who get yelled at are those who have no basis for their opinion and just like to rant aimlessly or those who can't formulate without being blinded by ego.

I think it sounds great even refreshing, the singer has a very good voice, I also have the feeling that the guys have rerecorded the whole song, it sounds somewhat stronger, louder.
