Wow, Sister Hazel, I love that guys voice. I would love to hear it live in concert. Lucky girl!
Have fun!!! rockin.gif

Well thanks! You should check them out if they come near you. They are doing a full tour right now. This will be my first time seeing them after having been a fan for years.

I'm beginning to think you and I have similar tastes in music. Not many people are into Shinedown AND Sister Hazel.

I'd love to see Radiohead, though tickets are too hard to get.

I heard their San Diego show sold out in 19 seconds.

Yeah, the fuckin scalpers pounced on those tickets like a fat kid on cookies.

But...there are so many tickets being scalped on eBay that you can actually get them for a price relatively close to face value (sometimes less than $100 a pair). Be patient and you should be able to get a pair without being raped too badly.

Oh yeah, and the tickets are general admission, so they're all equal in terms of how close you can get to the stage. thumbsup.gif

eh.gif wtf?

http://www.aussiefloyd.com/

They're fucking awesome dude. They're a Pink Floyd tribute band, but they're REALLY good. And they're Aussies smile.gif

They play all the familiar stuff, as well as some more obscure material, and they do it really well. I've seen them twice now, and it's always fantastic. Last time they did Dogs, and I was blown away. They usually play Dark Side of the Moon in full, which is awesome, and then go onto other material. If they ever come around your hood, take my word for it, and go see them. Highly recommended stuff.

(By the way, Pink Floyd is my favorite band of all time, for all who didn't know.)

I just looked at my credit card statements for the past few months and realized that I've spent over $1,000 on tickets for concerts that will be happening in the next two months.

As hard as it is to stomach that kind of money being spent on entertainment, I have to say I'm going nuts with the anticipation of seeing some of my favorite artists within such a short span of time.

Here's what I'm seeing:

- May 24 - Live (Los Angeles)
- June 24 - Fiona Apple and Damien Rice (Los Angeles)
- June 27 - Radiohead (San Diego)
- June 29 - Radiohead (Los Angeles)
- June 30 - Counting Crows and Goo Goo Dolls (Los Angeles) (my gf's idea, but I do like Counting Crows quite a bit and enjoy some Goo Goo Dolls stuff)
- July 7 - NIN (Los Angeles)
- July 9 - Pearl Jam (Los Angeles)
- July 13 - Pearl Jam (Santa Barbara)

I'm also thinking of catching a Chili Peppers show when they come around.

Any other good tours going on that I should see? What is everyone else going to see in the near future?

I am super jealous of your Radiohead, Pearl Jam and Fiona Apple and Damien Rice! ESPECIALLY that one.

I got pearl jam tickets today for november, hooray! I'd love to catch Red Hot Chili Peppers when they come out also, and Radiohead would be amazing.

I just looked that show up since you caught my attention with Tonic. Enjoy the Bloodhound Gang. haha

Oh, bad memories of having to stand there in the front row and put up with all that shit because of them, when I just wanted to see The Clarks and LIVE at the end of the show (Rolling Rock last August).

Well I dont' really know how to answer that. They were together for this festival show, with Emerson, but it was the only show they are doing or have done in awhile as a band. Emerson has a solo cd coming out in the Fall. I guess Tonic is kind of up in the air right now.

And thanks Jacob the Bloodhound Gang were ummmmm........interesting to say the least! omg.gif eh.gif

The show was great, I've never seen Tonic before so it was a real treat to be able to see them. They played for less than an hour though, being it was a festival show. They sounded in top form though.

I actually enjoyed Emerson solo a little bit more. But I think that had to do with the crowd. I was so distracted during Tonic's set by crowdsurfers that I barely got to actually see Tonic, I mostly just heard them. I saw Emerson in a club though, it was just him and his guitar. His voice is amazing, I've always loved the tone of it. His solo songs are pretty great too. He even threw in a couple of Tonic songs. I'm sure he'll do a tour once his cd comes out, you should try and catch him.

last time i checked this was fans of live and here, one is allowed to discuss just about anything....the good, the bad, the ugly. NO matter your age or what you think of the present day band that is LiVE. Hell, if I wanted to be censored, there is another site or two i could go to.
