Do you mean the song by Fall Out Boy? If so, I really that band. The most annoying band ever! Not just because they suck, but because everytime i turn on the tv i see one of their freaking projectile vomit inducing videos.

Yeah I think there was a live version of it from the Tibetin Freedom concert a couple years before 2001.

I think it was even played before that, sometime back in the 90's. Too bad there isn't a better quality version of it in circulation yet.

I actually just had the complete opposite experience. Popped it in because of this thread and realized there's some pretty sweet music on this album. Sure, a lot of it is out of place and cheezy but a lot is rockin'. Can't believe I forgot about it.

Yeah I think Ed performed it at some sort of charity event in 1998. I remember Sheryl Crow was involved in the performance.

I like V. I think BOP is way more forgetable. V has good energy and the band rocks pretty hard. Some of the lyrics on V are questionable but Ed did put alot of emotion and energy in the recording. I think the record would have been better if the other members had some or even a little of input in the writing process.

I totally agree. I think this is the biggest problem w/their last few albums. It seems Ed is doing almost all of the writing. The best songs on BOP were co-written by Taylor.

Agreed. BOP is their worst record. It's their most boring. A lot of folks may not like V, but it sure gets people talking. I for one love it... lyrically, it's weaker, but it's a fun record to listen to. They took a little break from the heavy esoterics and let loose a little (they are, after all, still rock stars).
