It has some good tracks but, overall, it's a big step below the big four for me.

Still has it's merits, though. I introduced a friend to Live through BoP. He got hooked on Heaven, then gradually made his way through to the rest. Every cloud, eh...

My gal started with BoP btw. Heaven is still her second fave song. I wonder why a lot of people claim it to be cheesy and poppy and still love it lol.gif

I remember clearly hearing Heaven for the first time on the radio. Back than I thought it was a very nice single, fresh and different from their previous singles, and dint mind too much it was poppy. I still think so.

When I first heard a radio rip of Heaven, I thought it was very much V-ish.

I always liked BOP for the most part. There are tracks that I feel are really LIVE to the core - and others that are just bad.

For whatever you wanna say about the album, the tour was off the charts! I still think LIVE were immense during the period 2002-2005 on stage. They did a lot of touring around that time - and most of the BOP bootlegs and concert videos really captured LIVE in their element on stage.

CT really seemed to step to the front a lot more too, where he had this stage presence all of a sudden - be it the stomp, the LJ tribal like dance with Ed, the mohawk - I don't know - but it was just an awesome era. Well, for me anyway. Although BOP itself had very few gems on the album, the way LIVE lit up the concerts - wow!

Edit: there's a picture I have from the FOL site back then, taken by Jimmy I think, truely capturing the energy and emotion of those shows - I will see if I can find it and post it here. When I think of BOP, I think of pics like those.

It's an old FOL clip @ making BOP.

I'll leave the remarks as they are lol.gif

BOP had the gems Lighthouse, Rivertown & LID..........promise but what happened to the rest???? ARGH

I found some older BOP concert clips too RT & LID....trying to match them up with a boot.

Quite the contrasting tale from CT on BOP and Jim Wirt.
