Yeah, I have concerns though that the problem lies on the legal side of things. Picking the tracks, getting mastering done, and doing artwork (if there is any) shouldn't take long enough to be considered a snag. Hopefully they are actually able to put it out there, but this does worry me. Hopefully it isn't what I think!

As Dan mentioned, CT said it was a positive snag so I doubt he was referring to any legal issues. Maybe it's getting widely distributed rather than just through the FOL? Could be a bunch of things, but I'm sure we'll find out some more news soon.

Chad said it was a "positive" snag. Maybe the release of these Live tracks are going to clash with the TGF acoustic EP or maybe Chad's found some other songs they want to include with the Live collection? Pure speculation of course.

I will admit that I wasn't all there last night, I completely missed the word "positive." Now I'm all excited and yeah, this will be worth the wait!

I'd think they're prob trying to get it deluxe packaged professionally. I am all for this. Remember when I said, they have to get it all bundled up....could be one of the best Live releases yet.

Well what do you know. It's coming up to Christmas 2011 and there's still no holiday gift.

Do you know what gets me? It's not that it's over a year late, it's the fact that us fans are not kept updated with what's going on. The last bit of info we got from the band was in February. Chad said something about hitting a 'positive snag'. What that means is anybody's guess...

Since then there's been nothing. In the meantime CCP have started recording with an unannounced new vocalist, CCP are involved in a company that's going to redevelop a ghetto in PA, they've set up a new record label and Chad's company is still trying to get his movie 'Another Harvest Moon' onto the cinema screen.

Unfortunately, Live is no longer their #1 priority and it's just one of a multitude of projects that are vying for CCP's attention.

I'm guessing this will be our fault and we're not patient enough. The unfulfilled promises are stacking up and will soon drive a wedge between the band and their fans. I get that they have a lot on their plate right now but hire a part time publicity manager. Most of this shit would've been nipped in the butt before it was announced. Temper expectations and be realistic before spouting off on the interwebs about what's "coming soon".

Look, everyone should just settle down and enjoy their TGF EP that was released earlier this fall, the wonderful TGF tour dates we just experienced and listen to the Churchbox sessions that we received last Christmas and stop wondering who this new lead singer is that we have been hearing about for months.

And all those friends that we went out and anxiously enlisted to subscribe to the new website for the band back on August 2nd will just have to remain as excited as they were 3 and a half months ago when we told them to go there and sign up. They should keep checking back every day because soon there will be an actual website there.

You guys are just too anxious. You don't realize that we are about to be served a 5 course meal and that's why it doesn't matter if the band spews bullshit promises like they are fertilizing a feed corn field of a Texas sized cattle ranch. We can all trust with full, absolute faith in the fullfilment of all Live's promises just as we always have been able to in the past.

Sorry - I just had to get that off my chest.
