We never said Live was one of the most creative bands when it comes to arranging a setlist. However, they have tried to treat fans to songs that they haven't heard in years at the recent shows. I think it is awesome what they have been doing and I hope to see it continue. I can't find anything to complain about when it comes to that.

You think everything they do is awesome.

I'm thoroughly convinced you are Ed.

Yeah I guess it really does compare to Operation Spirit, Lightning Crashes, W.D., TSUFL, WFG, Iris, just to name a few....... sarcasm.gif

Correct: “What was the band trying to prove here? That Ed can rap? Electronics and hip-hop-like hooks and verses? Ed with his long hair and eye-liner? Live can hang with the LA glamour scene with the pretty people?” –FlyersFan6379

Beau trying to hide his metro-sexuality: “That said, I love Flow, Like a Soldier, Simple Creed, Nobody Knows, Call Me a Fool, Deep Enough and OK.” –Beau99

Incorrect: “Simple Creed is fucking awesome.” –Beau99

You epitomize the “I love Live because of V since they were trying to be metrosexuals” fan.

Yeah but it is an energetic as fuck opener to a show. It rocked pretty hard live back in 2001 with Ed doing his crazy running all over the place type stuff.

I'm feeling very articulated today.

I hope they're still opening up with Simple Creed when they play in Hammond, IN later this summer.

I thought Simple Creed was a great opener. Yeah it's not their greatest song ever but as an opener it kicked ass. Where Fishes Go, however, was the end all BE all of openers. I would give up a kidney to see that shit again!

Yeah, I was wishing that they'd drop Rattlesnake for Fishes in Cleveland, but it didn't happen. I was on the right track, though, in that they did drop it at the next show in favor of another old opener.

I'd kill to hear Fishes.

I never said anything about Simple Creed other than roll my eyes at its "fuckin' awesome". I don't mind the song...but its not awesome.

Me too Throwing Copper tour Spectrum '95

I'll always remember those bright ass lights they shined on the crowd during the song.

QUOTE(burd @ May 18 2006, 3:23 pm) *

Our standards have been squashed to the ground by watching them play the same set for almost two years now. When they throw us a bone like Rattlesnake - or Iris for fuck's sake, that we've been begging for since 2000, we freak out. (I feel like this doesn't need to be explained on this board ... )

I had to laugh out loud at that needing to be explained laugh.gif

And wow *gets chills picturing Dam At Otter Creek again*
