With Live and TGF on a scheduling hiatus and Ed K. on a creative hiatus, it is little more than threads like this one that keep me coming back over and over again. I love it! It's lke a soap opera.

It is amazing how fast 2 years have gone by and even more amazing how we can all argue Ed v. CCP for two years and still have plenty of fuel for the fire.

I love the comment about there being approximately 20 of us here. It is never lost on me that we are not talking about a very popular band here, even though it means so much to us. I guess only Dan knows the hit statistics on this site, but we all have to keep in mind that this message board is the functional equivilent of trading rumors and arguments in a middle school homeroom class - in more ways than one.

I just think Bremang likes to see himself as some kind of freelance undercover reporter. He's going to get the heart of the issues and expose everyone! His true views don't matter, what matters is arguing every single person's point to make some kind of point himself. I just don't get the point really, yes its healthy to have differing opinions on things but whats the point if you don't actually believe what you're saying .. you've said a few times that what you're arguing may not be exactly what you're thinking.
Pick something subjective to argue over, the new music when it comes out for example, something where you can offer a different point of view whether you believe it or not. Not something objective like the fact you are being told point blank that OTD is not a plant and that is all there is to it. There is no opinion, there is no "what if". He isn't, so move along, next topic.

The point to which you're referring, the one where I am outright telling you that you're wrong, was that your definition of a fact and opinion was wrong - I wasn't commenting to your assessment of who I am. Given your response of "No I'm right, this is exactly what you are", its clear that you would be arguing the wrong point. I would say that you arguing the wrong point is not very different to how multiple people tell me I'm wrong about OTD, in that it often doesn't follow logically in conversation, or that a statement would be made without a good assessment.

dude....i feel like you just have to go back and try figure out what i said first before you can tell me that i don't know what i'm talking about. and i just have no assurances that you are inclined to make that point about otd.
