why all this argument from Bremang and SJN? Are we upset that there will be new Live music? I am simply a fan of the music, and when it turned to shit.......I held my tongue for a long time, 2009 was when I decided to speak my mind.

wow, thats a long time to hold it in. now that you let it all out it seems unstoppable. in the end i'm glad you're helping chad. glad for new Live. I got huge doubts about the new singer, but will keep an open mind, though knowing it won't be Live of old. Live 2.0 might be cool.

You seem to just constantly play the devil's advocate though and argue things even though you don't seem to even truly believe them. it's confusing.

OTD nailed it, there is new Live music on the way ... get excited about it, be nervous about it, maybe you'll love it, maybe you won't, but if you've already decided you hate it and that it and everything it stands for is evil, then go.

All I owe you to say is that I have gotten to know OTD off the boards and he is an overly enthused but really good guy. He came to know the guys through working to promote TGF (he put together the radio list) and has made connections in and around the band through that. No more, no less.

SJN, fair enough on not claiming to have "inside info" and if I were OTD I would handle the info differently on these boards too, but like him I wouldn't fault you if you did come on here talking about inside info from Ed's side. You've earned it doing work for him, and good for you on that.

I don't think OTD is a bad guy at all. I honestly think the majority of posters on this board are decent people. We are all just passionate on the topic of LIVE and have differing viewpoints. There is nothing wrong with that.

I should have said "trustworthy" but to me that is the biggest part of being a good guy. If he says he wasn't involved before then he wasn't involved. Simple as that.

Anyone with half a brain and ears that worked could tell that the contribution from Chad, Chad, and Patrick diminished from 2001 and on. It doesn't take being in "the know" to figure that out.

What does that even mean? What relevance does that have? Ok you can't trust anyone 100% are you including your wife and parents on this? If you can't trust someone 100% then maybe you can trust someone 98% and does that 2% make the person untrustworthy? Does that mean you should take no one at their word ever? Did funky say he 100% trusts OTD on every aspect of his life? Which things do you choose to trust someone on and which do you not. Seriously, stop coming up with replies that just blanket an entire issue and really don't mean anything other than to make a point that doesn't really specifically connect to the situation just to feel like you've made a point no one can argue. No that's not true, Live are still going, a new version but if anyone gets to have the say on whether they are Live or not, its the people in the god damn band, not some little piss ant who turned up part way through their career. You might decide not to recognise them as Live, but Live IS still a living breathing functioning band, just with a changed line up. What the fuck gives you the right to dictate whether they're "really" Live or not over them themselves. Again I don't even really see this as "an opinion". They say they're Live, they're Live.

We'll see about that. My money is that they are going to fail without Ed, and give Ed the leverage to come back to a better deal at a later date.
