I can't remember exactly where it was first noted, I believe it is written on the album that those are the only two songs credited differently to the rest which were all listed as Ed only. Either way, that has been known for years.

interesting - lets say everyone knew - still at the time before the breakup, the trend wasn't aimed at bringing up the divide as much as otd was propping the issue.

As for Deeper and other b-sides reaching the community, I'm not trying to "prove" anything I just always assumed there were folks in the community "in the know" and left it at that. In fact, I'm not even sure why I'm here arguing with you. I was enjoying the board just fine when you weren't here making arguments. Consider my part of this done.

My BOP copy isn't around currently, but for example, wiki says Like I Do is Kowalczyk, Dahlheimer and Taylor. And Lighthouse is Kowalczyk and Taylor.

I was here since V/BOP. OTD popped up randomly 3 months after the break-up and proceeded to post nearly 5000 times and promote the heck out of TGF. I just don't buy that he was just lurking one day and decided to post on the board.

I mean no offense when I say that you know that you're here living on these boards alot, maybe way more than you care to admit. Check that post count of yours, its gigantic. It's up there cause you're a huge fan, clearly. Now imagine if you got that tremendous post count in about 1/3 of the time. Seriously, what sort of mental condition would you have in order achieve that? What would your life be like? Can you imagine the time and effort needed? I mean, if someone told me OTD was doing his job, I'd find that fairly unsurprising.

Oh I'm a moron, just in other facets of my life, with this I know I'm right, I know OTD isn't CT's henchman and anyone suggesting so is just ... a moron. If we know the truth then I think you're trying to tell us otherwise, then there's not much left to be said. It's not even a "well thats your opinion", it'd be like looking at a tree and going "its my opinion that that is not a tree". Its not an opinion, its an incorrect statement. You're being told out right it's not the case by people who he talks to and refusing to let it go. How much time people spend on the board is their business, i can check in at home, on my phone when traveling around and at work. I don't know, maybe OTD does too, thats his business.
I think the mental condition that should be looked at is why someone is spending so much time on a board (and owned a board) of a band he doesn't like and is only around for one (former) member. Instead of just washing his hands and walking away.

All I owe you to say is that I have gotten to know OTD off the boards and he is an overly enthused but really good guy. He came to know the guys through working to promote TGF (he put together the radio list) and has made connections in and around the band through that. No more, no less.

SJN, fair enough on not claiming to have "inside info" and if I were OTD I would handle the info differently on these boards too, but like him I wouldn't fault you if you did come on here talking about inside info from Ed's side. You've earned it doing work for him, and good for you on that.

What if he was completely uninspired to post before then? Live was pretty damn dormant mostly for years before that being pretty bland and lifeless. The hiatus was a pretty big deal and was the start of confirming a lot of what people had been suspecting. I'd say its more likely that something like that inspires a lurker to come out and begin to express how they feel. But then again, I'm not a paranoid conspiracy theorist hiding doing things like viewing the shoutbox and following every little move a band that I'm not a fan of makes.
