This is the crux of the matter to me pokey. I think the 2 year hiatus and the possibility of a reunion of sorts kept me interested in this board. I have always read it but seldom commented in the early years, but now as we are on the verge of some unrelesed older material im excited. Then some new music with LIVE not constrained by one persons ideas keeps me here, or as you say i would walk away .

I'm sorry but waiting as long as we have for this "new" website to launch is just beyond frustrating.

I don't want to hear "be patient". We have been. It was way to early of a tease.

Instead of announcing it when they did Live should have waited until it was about 2-3 weeks from being ready to launch.

At this point they've already hyped it, peaked the interest of it, slowly had it die, and now are at the point where fringe fans that were excited probably don't care anymore and may not even check it out.

They definitely rode the idea but did not think out a solid marketing strategy with this.

I actually agree with Hoody here. Generally when hyping something like this you get everything in a row and then execute your timeline.

It isn't whining to me, rather concern that the hype has cooled and that it will impact traffic. I've got plenty of other things to worry about, they can do what they want.

Yeah I agree with hoodie. I appreciate shit takes time but like he says if they weren't ready to launch it within a couple of weeks it was way too early to announce it. I'm not waiting with baited breath, I got plenty of other things going on the be excited about and focus on. But the initial buz that it captured seems to have gone. It's not about when they launch it, they could launch it in March for all I care. But if it were to launch in march, hold off on the announcement until Feb. I love CCP but sometimes they just get it wrong, this is one of those times.

It did kinda suck when I realized that the 3 week thing was not happening. No mention from the band about a delay. I was disappointed about the indefinite setback with Churchbox, but it was good that they kept us in the loop saying that there was a snag.
