I very much doubt CT would punch you in the face. Possibly ban you from shows, but that's probably not a problem since you wouldn't go to any anyways as you're not a fan of Live so most likely no action needs to be taken by anyone! Oh well except on your part, leaving the board and all...

Well, Live are getting back together, just without Ed. If you don't believe it's really Live we should probably refer to the people who are absolutely closest to the source, that being the people in Live, since they say it's Live, it's Live. You can look at a tree and decide you want to call it a fruggle instead, but the fact of the matter is, it's still a tree. So whatever you want to call Live is fine, but they're still Live

I for one want too see what's been held back, relegated to record label nose thumbing for all these years. I think we may be left with more questions but for sure it would give the die hard fan a glimpse of what the full creative authority of this band was at a time when they were at their peak and collective efforts were a powertrain!!!

We're going to get this stuff.......it's a great time to be a Live fan.

I'm psyched about the unreleased stuff! Hell even Nick should be psyched because Ed is involved, but he hasn't shown the least bit of interest, probably because he'd have to show some thanks to CCP for getting the stuff out there and he'd loath to do that. Not to mention Ed not getting any money for it probably drives him nuts.

But for the rest of us, this is such an exciting time, you're right Bob, it'll be a great little window into what was held back at the time. I wonder if there may even be come semi complete demo songs from even the apparent heap that got left on the cutting room floor for V which CT thinks were some of Ed's best work?

You'd imagine now that the guys have their creative juices flowing and their balls back as far as standing up to Ed goes ... that if Ed came back to Live it would be on terms they all can agree to, which would hopefully mean a non pussified version of Ed, the pre 2000 Ed, and if so that won't be awkward, that'll be awesome.
If Ed comes back as the 2006 La Da Da Ed, then that will be more awkward for the band in my eyes because it would just gain a massive yawn and eye roll from me and to be honest I probably wouldn't even see them. As much as you don't want to see new Live, if Live returned as they were in 2006 with SFBM then I would take my leave and walk away. Much like you should do now.

I have stopped critically ripping him. I have no ill will towards the guy at all.
Maybe you don't or can't read very well. I tend to offer my opinion on what things he says about Live as most people do. I only rip on you for your incessant attacks on C&C&P. I have no issue with seeing Ed in concert with Live again. I just don't think he's about to come back w/o some sort of sefl accounting to what I know he did.

Here's a stone cold fact. I listen to Ed singing on Live concerts quite often. I have never stopped commenting on the music of Live when it was relevant, fresh and a collaborative effort.
You offer nothing to this base of fans on this board as to why you follow or any semblance of meaning to you. It's all about sales, charts, money.

I'd be interested if and when he comes to his senses and returns to Live that he can go back and sing the way he used to. I'll hold judgement until that day. You can continue to say I rip him, but my only ripping was due to what he did behind closed doors. I'm on record for softening my stance on him.

Care to offer up some thanks or disussion on what Di and others have given on some old music? I thought so.....the ususal crickets.
