Dangum,

I just wanted to say thanks for sticking it out and keeping this site alive and well. When everyone else was giving up, moving on, and shutting down shop you stayed the course and kept open a great place for Live fans to communicate!

Absolutely!

I look forward to the new album being released and hopefully get a lot more positive talk and reviews and discussions happening around here. Nothing like the excitement of a new album and I think it'll do the place good and make up for the rough patches!

I appreciate the kind words. I'm really excited about the future of Live and hopefully Fans of Live can continue be a place where fans can share their thoughts and experiences.

I'd also like to thank the regulars who have stuck around over the years. It's evident that many haven't been happy with what Live has produced recently and it would have been easy to stop contributing to the forum but it's great that you've continued posting and making it the first stop for the latest Live information.

I wonder if freaks4live doesn't include a forum whether they would possibly consider having a links section to this place as an official unofficial forum? Of course that would have to be OK'd with both the band and Dan but it could be a great way to drive some more traffic through and get some new faces in and freshen up the place.

Strangely it could also help a bit with all the fighting here, sometimes it seems with such a small amount of regular posters that everyone is so familiar with each other on here that jumping into an argument just seems like the done thing ... with a whole group of new people might make us a little more self conscious of how we act.

I'd imagine anyone that did sign up fresh wouldn't do so if they weren't inclined to give new Live a shot either, so we'd be getting a bit more positive energy around the place, people who were not willing to give new Live a chance probably wouldn't bother signing up.

Hell even if it wasn't linked in or endorsed or anything by them I'm sure the fact that Live is starting up again would promt a few more google searches related to them and find this place and a few more sign ups.

Yes, I guess I should join in on this one. I would also like to say thanks to Dan. He probably does not remember me, but I was registered here since maybe 2004 and the nickname was life4live. So I know the guy web wise and should say that Dan is the best admin there is!!!

While I'm on this: is it possible to transmit my old number of posts and status to the new account? Do not like be a newbie on this board! If it's not possible - I'll live with that ;-)

The one thing that always kept me going with this place - is that little warm home feeling you get while you on here. Great people, great place.
