Call Me a Fool might be the absolute worst song on V. It disgusts me to hear it.

LOL wasn't this Beau(best cover ever done of Lightning Crashes)99's favorite song?

I think if "deep-voice Ed" sang Call Me a Fool it would have been a really nice song.

That said, I give most of everything on V a pass considering the variety circumstances that were present when it was made.

SFBM has no excuse.

Album Denial is one of the early signs that you have a problem.

The first step of any rehab program is to admit you have a problem. Then, and only then, can the healing begin.

Except this time the problem is with the music. I think you would need to get SFBM to sit down and admit that it has a problem.

Ed sounds castrated in this song.

Yeah Ed's deep throaty or 'big boy' voice as I think someone called it would have made it a lot better. Don't get me wrong, it's not getting near my top 20 favourite +Live+ songs any time soon but I liked it as a young'un when I first got V and I haven't grown to dislike it. The breathless falsetto towards the end is a bit crap though and deserves a paddlin'

If it ever did get into yours or anyone's top 20 Live songs, you better believe that's a paddlin'

for me the last three albums have plenty of underrated gems.

V - i like OK? for some reason but it always gets shat on. Its dirty and loud and makes no sense, but that bit towards the end after the silence when it kicks into "Im on the outside..." gets me going. You have to listen to it loud! And be drunk.

BOP - Never really hear anyone give props to River Town, and the band never really gave it any attention in concert. Love it, love the theme, actually find it the darkest song on the album lyrically.

SFBM - Where do we go from here? is a good song that i think would've been loved much more if it were on any other album. Again, lyrically quite sombre considering the rest of the album. I wouldnt be embarrassed suggesting this for someone's playlist nod.gif

Graze and Gas Hed Goes West.

To me, Secret Samadhi is one of the most underrated albums in the history of music but one of the most beautiful albums ever made.

agree on Where do we go from here? Nice pop song.

The only thing I think that misses to SS to be an outstanding album is the lack of diversity. Some songs are on the same key and somne chord progressions are alike. But else it is an album I listen to every now and then. Rattlesnake is my favorite Live song right now.

i dont understand some of the choices considering the topic of this thread. Gas hed gets a lotta love from everyone...always has. i think there have been threads dedicated to that song. How is it underrated? Maybe so for the general public because it wasnt a single, but then every other live song would fit into that category.

I've never considered Call Me A Fool with Ed's big boy voice. That might be awesome.

MJ - Mother Earth is a Vicious Crowd

Is anything underrated on TC?

SS - Graze. merica. I love them all and almost just started to list them all. oops.

TDTH - face and ghost and we walk in the dream but I also love this whole album.

V - I really love Ok? and transmit your love

BOP & SFBM I really have a hard time saying anything's underrated.

Get ready for some news how everyone hates it.

I for one love it. One of the best rhythm sections on this one for me
