Because you pretend to be some great insider. If you know what is going on behind the scenes, share it.

Do you honestly think LIVE has a better chance to succeed with or without Ed? What do they feel behind the scenes?

My knowledge is not for everyones eyes and ears....get it. I drop hints on stuff.

You aren't privledged to hear things as you are the pariah of the Live community. And there is such a thing as in-confidence.

My wife and I(along with some friends) hung with Ed for a bit after Musikfest, and all I can tell you that Ed seems to be in a really good place right now. He was happy to meet with his fans and he genuinely seems excited to be touring. He is also looking forward to working on album #2.

Meeting Ed now, and meeting Ed in the early 2000's are just totally different experiences.

That is all the insider info I possess. smile.gif

Because if he started sharing things he was told in confidence he'd quickly get cut off.. Sort of like you are now.

Shove your god damn narrow ass minded concept of "succeed", Live will do fine without Ed because they'll still make great music and that is ALL that matters. THAT is success. Leave the fucking money out of it. Oh and go away.

Awesome! Good for Ed! Why don't you go be happy and in a good place with him on his Facebook instead of here, being in a bad place with a band you don't like.

And Nick, there is nothing wrong with that. Sounds as if Ed's starting to warm up to not being a dickhead anymore......if that's the case, then he'll open his mind up and welcome more things and perhaps reaquaint himself with his mates.

But even if he is getting inside info, it is from one source(likely Chad Taylor). How does Chad Taylor know how Ed is doing financially?(and why does he care enough to share his thoughts on Ed with OTD?)

From my recent interactions with Ed, he doesn't seem to miss LIVE all that much. He is clearly happier on stage and after the shows. Could he get back with LIVE one day, absolutely. I just don't think he needs to or wants to anytime soon(not insider info, just personal opinion).

I have other sources. Why does he care? Perhaps I care about the music, Live/TGF and have been so for a long long time. I never said nor will I reveal my sources or what whom says to me.

I fully believe that all 4 members of LIVE have had their dickhead moments in the past. In a 20 year relationship, that is totally bound to happen.

It gets to about 4:25 and then reloads the page for some reason and I have to start again. How very, very annoying. Any suggestions?

For people who are having problems streaming the video, I have uploaded an MP4 version of the video to the following address. It plays all the way through without any issues. (7 minutes 52 seconds)

http://www.mediafire.com/?nesfdcfgbqv1qrq

Topics include the success of Throwing Copper, the story behing Lightning Crashes, Secret Samadhi, The Distance to Here, Alive, relationship between Ed and the members of Live, previous visits to Las Vegas and finally whether he will ever re-unite with Live.

thanks Dan, i was trying to do that earlier but had the same issues with the fucking cbs radio web page. That's a travesty that a page would autoreload and continuously download files and other shit.

care to cite some actual stuff related to the band business? All I know is they went on autopilot to let Ed have his freedom and they got stagnant and irrelevant in the process. Sometimes you have to lay on the breaks and take a break. All aside, they're all family men and that does account for some things. Now the other stuff in the meantime was calculated at a low esteemed time for Live.
