Does anyone here have this girl's album? As much as it might surprise some of you, I like what I've heard of her work. I've seen her perform on a couple different late night shows and I like what she's got going on. She's an awesome performer, and her songs, though somewhat pop-ish, have hints of creativity all over them. I'm probably going to buy her album at some point, because I've actually gained some respect for her as an aspiring musician, but I can't afford to get it right now. So yeah, if anyone here has it and could send it to me on aim or something, that would be awesome.

Well I don't have the cd but I agree with you. She is unique. I've seen her perform too and she is pretty impressive.

I have a bunch of stuff. She's awesome. Super-talented. How cool is she??!?!?!!!

She actually has a bunch of albums already. This one is getting some airplay here in the states - finally. The rest of the album isn't at all like Black Horse & A Cherry Tree. It's very NPR-ish - very laid back, very groovy-jammy-old-Sarah-McLachlanish ... me likey mucho.

I don't mind a lot of her stuff, but I just can't actually get into it .. I much prefer Katie Melua.

I saw her on CDUSA she definately sounds really good. I like how she creates a song using that machine....damn cool. rockin.gif

It's very different than what you might expect. I didn't like it at first because I was expecting more Black Horse & A Cherry Tree'ish type songs. But it grew on me and I like it a lot. Download a few songs & check it out.

Why don't you just download Limewire and get it yourself? You could be listening to it all day instead of waiting for me to go home after work and send it to you.

Because fuck that. I don't like having to install a program that takes up space on my comp to dl from people I don't know. I'd rather wait, if you don't mind sending me some stuff later or something.
