How stupid are you? You just claimed once again that the motivation for CB and Live is their lack of success with TGF.

TGF did not draw enough for Kevin Martin to continue with them as his full time project. Kevin Martin started to focus more on Candlebox and CCP were left with nothing. That is a big reason for LIVE ending their hiatus. TGF momentum was all but stalled when Kevin went back to Candlebox.

Even during the infant stages of TGF, it was stated that the following summer (summer 2011), that they would take time off for Live. Candlebox also had previously scheduled Candlebox dates for this summer. With TGF taking time off, Candlebox was also open to schedule additional dates. How fucking stupid are you that you cannot comprehend this?!

Take a look at the 5th post in this thread(dated February 1, 2011). It says that TGF will be on tour "All Summer Long". TGF had more extensive touring plans in 2011, but for some reason they fell through.

You are not qualified to talk about anything regarding their finances, their motivations, their decisions, or anything else about them that none of us are privy to. Yet you continue to speak for them as if you are clairvoyant or something. We can only go with what they tell us and what is clear, unadulterated fact. When it comes to anything financial, especially regarding how it impacts their decision making process, you just don't know. As far as when Kevin posts on TGF page, first off, why the fuck do you even go to their page? He didn't post on CB's page when he was focusing on TGF either. Seems like a form of respect to me, something which you have no clue about.

Ed attracts a lot of pot shots because he has done a lot of things to earn those pot shots, even dating back to before he left Live. The only reason you have this problem with CCP is because they aired dirty laundry in public. it seems thats what it all boils down to, you believe they were trying to ultimately hurt Ed's bank account, and Ed's bank account is the single most important thing in your life and you will defend it's honor!
If CCP had never opened their mouth about Ed in public I think your attitude would be very different. You may still not be a fan of TGF because you like your music with a dash of pussy in it, and you may not like the new Live because Ed isn't a part of it, and you know if he was then his bank account would grow even bigger, so these are other factors, but in the end it comes down to the boys attacking your man. To me, this is the case of sour grapes you keep talking about.
Ed gets the vile posts for so many different reasons be they character based, musically based, artistic integrity based whatever ... and as I say they date back to long before Live split in some cases so it has nothing to do with sour grapes that Ed may have sold 74 more tickets than TGF at some venue, because to the people who care about music, that shit doesn't matter.

At least for some I wish it didn't, arguing about ticket sales is one thing I can't understand people on either side getting into ... it just doesn't matter.
