Really? That's a rough, unmixed demo for the song. The final version is what is being referred to here. It is noticeably more polished than this one. Just watch the movie and you'll see.

I think the song should have been properly released on Awake(it would have made a much stronger single than We Deal in Dreams). I saw Zack and Miri opening night(terrible movie, but the song sounded good in it). I don't remember the difference in the sound though.

Are you talking about the snippits in that whoever and whatsherface make a porno being better quality than the demo, or is there another demo of better quality than the one Nicholarse posted? I've not heard really any mix a lot better than the one he posted?
