Just for thought - I checked Live's likes about 6 weeks ago to see if there was anything new there I would want to check out.

I was looking at their page today and Blind Melon shows up as there newest "Like". I can say for sure that it was not there about 6 weeks ago.

Connecting those dots, and the Shinn statements, makes me think it has to be this guy.

I'm all for moving forward & getting a new lead and new music but gee Im not convinced it should be Chris he doesn't have that grunge type voice synonymous with live and sings quite high....one thing that captured me about live was that even though some of the lyrics were a bit lame on occasion they still felt grungy and a bit hard edged due to ed's voice. This guy doesn't have that from the snippet I heard but then again he may be much better in studio - ed has some pretty ordinary youtube performances out there too.....fingers crossed we get some good new music!!!!

So does this Chris Shinn dude play guitar? If it is him (or anyone else) and he doesn't play guitar that could be interesting going back to only having one guitarist in the band, unless they get another new touring guitarist in as I couldn't see AK there without da EK.

I think in the video i saw of him, he was playing guitar. IF he becomes the new singer of LIVE I think he will play guitar here and there, just like Ed in the beginning.
LIVE with only one guitarist wouldn't be that bad. Chad T pulled it off during the MJ/TC/SS days!

EDIT: shittt... crossed the 2.000. But I couldn't hold it anymore!

The person that put up that song also put up the entire album. Like I said, it's incredible. Personal faves are Real Easy and Hut. There's some good rockers on there too.
