I clicked the link but can't find the interview. It says "click here for the interview" but there is nothing to click.

Is this just a rehash of old info or is there anything new?

It worked for me - just hit the yellow play button.

Rehash. EK spouting about "doing new things" and spreading his wings... while playing old Live tunes. Oh, but the "fans" love it.

Regardless of what Ed may or may not have done, his constant BS about suddenly being creative now just grates on me. He's not doing anything new - he's playing the same songs, with a cover band.

CCP really impressed me with their creation of TGF and willingness/eagerness to go out and do something new and different. I hope they do the same with +Live+, or whatever their next adventure is. I say let Ed have his "hits". They seem so stale, old and poppy when he performs them now. Give me some new rockin.gif from CCP_ and I'm happy.

Same old stuff. He denies the lead singer bonus or any of the stuff was the reason for Live's breakup but he doesn't deny it happened either. He says that it was his decision to branch out since he had been doing the same thing for 20 years, and he did so months before that other stuff came out. So once again he does not deny any of the allegations, just that they were not the reason for the breakup.

Ed and CCP wanted to move in different directions sonically. Ed being able to write and perform the music he wants to without upsetting his bandmates, has given him new joy as a performer(on and off stage). If you go to his shows now you can see a difference.

Good for him, glad he's happy. I hope he enjoys what he's doing, everyone should.

I won't go to his show.

I prefer the music the rest of the guys have generated.

Ed and CCP wanted to move in different directions sonically. Ed being able to write and perform the music he wants to without having to go through the creative process and democracy of having an actual band to have to creatively mesh and gel with or having to worry about going through the rigmarole of thinking up ways to screw said band in the ass (since everyone knows by default who gets the most money in a solo gig), has given him new joy as a performer(on and off stage). If you go to his shows now you can see a difference.

Yeah, I bet.
