Quite true, but you know what, I've believed that for a long long time. I don't think you can debate those 2 qualities. Too many personal stories.

My opinion might be biased, but it's an accurate bias.

My only story is when I met the band (Golden Ticket) my experience is that Ed didn't really seem to be there. He didn't look at you and didn't engage anyone. He would sign things but be half walking away every time.

I talked to CT and PD, sadly didn't get to meet CG, but both those two talked my wife and I's ears off. Very engaging and very energetic.

My wife was pregnant at the time and PD rubbed her tummy. It was hilarious.

They rocked the show that night. House of Blues in Dallas.

I have to wonder , if/when Live announces a new lead if Ed will be allowed to reference the name "Live" in any promotional material, ect ... ???

What situation is that?

Ed hijacked Live (his lifelong friends) and left them high and dry. Yet he and his remaining fans carry on as if that is completely acceptable and the real problem lies with C,C,P as they try to pick up the pieces.

I think the only legal acceptable promotion text is 'Ed, ex lead singer of Live'

Kinda sad that not more Live fans know about this. I bet Ed would lose attendance at his shows if more people knew about this. whistle.gif

I have described some personal experiences with Ed, but I have several others that I won't even go into.

If Chad Taylor can find peace and forgiveness in his heart for his lifelong friend who destroyed the collective creation of four friends, stole money from them, controlled and threatened them, co-opted their management, and then disregarded them, then I think that I, as a measly fan of the band, can keep my mouth shut about Ed and try not to say anything negative. I hope he gets whatever he is looking for. My support for him and my interest in him has just about run dry. And the same goes for Nick. I am on a no-Nick-response diet for a while now and I feel great. I've vowed to not even respond to the responses to Nick.

That is a great way to put it into perspective ... I have to admit that when all of the allegations came to light that I hated Ed for it but I seem to have passed that point now and wish that it would all simply be resolved. Although it doesn't seem possible , it is my sincerest hope that the four of them can work things out. Wishful thinking .... Regardless of what happens , I want Live to succeed and I am looking forward to this new venture whatever it may be.

Aaron Rodgers managed to all but erase the legacy of Brett Favre. I have a feeling that Nick fears this more than anything.

Unless Live's new CD outsells Throwing Copper, Ed's legacy with LIVE is safe.

Sales figures again? So Ed's legacy is based on record sales? I know this is how your warped mind thinks but I think Ed's legacy is about the music he written and performed with C&C&P. It was lightning in a bottle for a long time, but that changed with the whole music industry shift. I guess you don't see it the way most folks do. It's okay to be the lone dissenter as it places you on your island chained to your fate again and again. No problem.

Throwing Copper is the album LIVE is most known for. Lightning Crashes is the song that LIVE is most known for. I don't think anything Ed or or new LIVE do in the future will surpass either of those things(sales or relevance).

But instead of answeriing my question...you spin it into sales justification.

Yeah dumbass we get the 8 million TC in the US, we get the Lightning Crashes.

That was a product of the record industry pushing their might behind to make them visible. Their talent (all 4), sealed the deal.

Yes but Lightning Crashing is really the song that made LIVE. Selling the Drama and I Alone were good singles, but LC took LIVE to another level.

What question are you referring to? All I said is that Ed's legacy with LIVE is safe.

You're missing your tampons. Or maybe you're just bitching over semantics. But you'd be a great promoter. You would have Ed, who is playing Live songs at his gigs, not mention his part in Live on his promo poster, because you would have a working knowledge of what is fraudulent.
