Bands get new singers and keep their name all the time. That should be OK to stomach even for you.

Everyone will know the difference between Ed and the new singer, and the fans will always know it is the second version of Live. But it should still be called Live if thats what CCP want.

Exactly, some people will like it (the music that is) and some people won't, we won't know until we hear it. What we do know is that it's happening, and if people have already decided they don't like it, then perhaps this is the part of the ride where they step off and go and find a new ride.

Look, right, you know, like, this is it, yeah...... we're getting some new shit. Which is better than no shit because it's coming from CCP... who proved they produce good shit with TGF. TGF will be back too, because they say it will. So that's that.

Ed does his shit shit, and if you like it, cool. But you know... he's the reason why he's not in Live now. So don't think you're 'fandom' should overrule CCP in terms of whether or not they should continue in any way they see fit.

You know, like... that's it....

You are basing that purely on speculation, you have absolutely no proof of this, jesus christ would you shut the fuck up about money. You and Ed, he steals money, you're obsessed with it, no wonder you love him.

Kevin Martin said that The Gracious Few was going to be his main focus in an interview earlier this year. Since that point, Candlebox has announced a summer tour that stretches into the fall, and the Gracious Few have played only a handful of US shows.

Candlebox has recently announced that they are working on a new album. Even if TGF plays a few shows this fall, it is pretty obvious that The Gracious Few is now a secondary focus for the Candlebox lead singer.

So what? Does it really matter? In the end Live is making new music that is probably going to blow away anything Live did the last 10 years. Stop focusing on that already.

i think its fine to say you're not going to like something before it comes out. we all know whatever comes out, no matter how good, its going to be different. and some people think that they mostly or only want the sort of thing that was created previously. but they should still stick and around to see it.

the poster says LIVE's Ed Kowalczyk, so at least fans know while they are getting LIVE's music, they aren't getting LIVE.

He's not Live's. He has personally chosen to be formerly of Live so his posters should state that.

He was the lead singer of Live. He is advertised on the front page of friendsoflive. Sounds like he's Live's to me.

No kidding.

Ed can promote himself however way he wants, but in the end his solo music (including certain songs from BoP and SFBM) sucks.

Weren't CCP working on a new band? The only reason they want to get back to work with LIVE is because Kevin Martin is focusing less on The Gracious Few and more on Candlebox.

The reason they are getting back to work on Live is because it is their life's work and they promised they would after taking a 2 year break.

Isn't that right Ed? ...... Ed?

Ed's promo poster is legit.

As in it is a real poster.

The fact that he's claiming to be Live's is a fraud.

I guess when they come out with a new album and a new lead singer you'll still be saying his claim is true. It's like talking to a wall with "you people"!

Other things said:

-TGF would be releasing an EP this summer

-2010 Holiday Gift would include rare LIVE songs

-TGF would tour all summer long(Appetite promo poster)

-They never wanted to stay in the same room or work with Ed(before contacting him for a reunion)

It was called a two year hiatus....at this point. If TGF took off, I feel that they were prepared to leave LIVE behind.

You just don't get it. banghead.gif

I'm one of the few people on here even interested in Ed. I'm looking forward to his next album and tour. I'm cool with his solo stuff The fact is you are so blind to his situtation with Live it sickens me.
