I've been following LIVE for the past 16 years, and I am really upset by the whole new lead singer issue. I haven't posted on TGF's FB in over a year because I am not a fan of that band. But LIVE is something that means a lot to me, and to see CCP do this bothers me a great deal.

Nick, while you're being honest - does this bother you? I acknowledge that Ed wrote many of these lyrics by himself, but these songs do not belong solely to him. I like Ed's new stuff. This bother's me. It's very possible that Ed had nothing to do with these two posters - concert promoters do whatever they want, often without the artist's knowledge. But my question, Nick, is does this bother you? Ed being presented, not only as Ed of Live, but with a list of Live songs that he will indeed be playing without 75% of the original band?
I'm not blaming Ed, but I don't like it.

what bothers me is that both these pictures of ed are EXACTLY the same image, one just had a beanie Photoshoped in!!! That someone took the time to do this is creepy. Are bald heads too explicit in some parts of the world?

I can understand maybe 1, 2, or 3 songs, but anything beyond that is rediculous.

He wanted a new direction then he should be playng his new album and dropping 2 or 3 Live hits in for the people that came to see it. Ed is just full of double standards (and of himself).

It is an overseas poster, and definitely the work of a concert promoter(notice the hat). However, the poster says LIVE's Ed Kowalczyk, so at least fans know while they are getting LIVE's music, they aren't getting LIVE.

If CCP tour around as LIVE featuring new lead singer "blank" that is fine. If they tour around as LIVE, to me that is not.

But... he's not "Live's" Ed Kowalczyk anymore, he USED to be Live's Ed Kowalczyk. Double standards are in full effect here! I hope CCP tour as "Live DEFINITELY featuring Ed Kowalczyk" just to piss you off, and then people will go to the gig and see that it's not Ed and will curl up into the fetal position and rock back and forth pulling their hair out not knowing what to do because they were tricked!!!1

You should be more concerned about whether people going to see a Live show will still get to see a quality show, and we won't know that until its happening. It'll be different, yes, but different isn't always bad. As I say, when it comes down to it I really couldn't care less how Ed markets himself, if he was still putting on a good show, then I'd go see him. But he's traveling with poor session musicians butchering songs, THAT is the problem, not what is on a poster. Once again, way to care about the music above all else there dude.
