Don't twist my words, I said that it's hard for me to think of Live as not being all 4 members, to me that is Live and yes I may have a hard time accepting another version of Live. However, I am open to new music, I'm willing to give things a go, I'm not the sort of person who decides they don't like a particular type of food before they try it. CCP are proven amazing musicians and I would think after all these years following them they deserve a chance to show what they can do again. I had hesitations about TGF too because I wasn't huge on Candlebox but it blew me away, so yes to me Live is all 4 members currently, but I am willing to give change a chance. Which you are clearly not.

To me Live stopped being all 4 members years ago and was just Ed, which is clearly the Live you prefer, so again, if you prefer Ed so much and see "no noticable drop offs" with his band, then go away and be happy with that and move on.

So seriously, fuck you for inferring that because I am 10 times the fan of Ed that you are because I enjoyed Ed for his music and his art, not because of his popularity, marketing ability or stats and figures.

You're judging it before you've even heard anything. If you're a fan of these 3 guys (which if you consider yourself a Live fan, I would imagine you should be ... but we all know youre not) then you'd at least be like my self, have some hesitations but want to see how it plays out. You've already judged it and decided to be critical about it before you even know anything about it. You're so utterly close minded about it. Rather than being a royal pain looking for attention and trying to advertise how much Ed is needed, why don't you reserve your judgement for later.
All this is going to prove is how you were never a fan of Live, just of Ed. Or that you just saw Live as Ed, in which case you have no business listing yourself as a fan of the band.

The ideal situation would be that Ed rejoins Live and the band gives Silver Spoons a collective FU, leaving fanboy high and dry with nothing!

I think a good majority of Live's fans that left in droves after the musical direction change, will embrace what C&C&P have to offer. Let's wait until its heard. more constructively, it is interesting to hear the latest on CG's (ccp's) opinion of Ed. Last I checked, CT was making several comments that were leaning towards being open to speaking with Ed, even talking about making music together again. Now it sounds like CG is completely anti ed.

It sounds like CAG has closed that chapter of the Live book. They tried to contact Ed and reconcile everything, and he wanted nothing to do with them. Time to move on.

And I read recently that Ed basically said he'll never work with CCP, unfortunately.

But I don't know if CCP actually tried to reach Ed.

I just read the new messages that CT posted. It is interesting that he said all opinions will be welcome, right after CG told Nick that his opinion was not welcome. All in all, lovely posts by CT.
