Everyone gets it. You love EK and anything or anyone that does not reflect him in the highest degree is attacked relentlessly (albeit unsuccessfully) by you.

Bill Hynes Nick. Why don't you reserve judgement until you hear the music. An then make an educated decision? And I know your not thrilled, however these guys worked there whole lives on this band. These 3 guys started the band and let Ed join them.... Remember that. It was their original vision. Ed no longer desires to be involved. That's on Ed. So if your pissed or if any fan is upset. Be so at Ed. These 3 will not throw away all them years of hardworking because some asshole all of a sudden got an ego.

I love Chad but I am not a huge fan of him getting into it with anyone online. Doesn't it seem beneath him? Go do whatever musically and kick ass but i wish he would drop it. Nick is getting under his skin Really? I can't imagine Hendrix or slash or another awesome guitarist like Chad getting involved with a fan on a website.

When the majority of fans go to see a LIVE show they will expect to hear the LIVE classics with the original lead singer.

All the arguments, whilst interesting sometimes, are also tiring. And a little too precious, as Gracey said.

Ed was a HUGE part of Live, but now he wants to go elsewhere, and since CCP proved they know what the fuck they're doing with the musical awesomeness of TGF, and since they dedicated so much of their lives to LIVE that we have no right to question their desire to continue with their baby... you know, we might as well just STFU and let them eventually drop some great new music in whatever form they see fit.

Maybe Ed sometime in the future, maybe not. CCP produce the goods with or without him - FACT - so I don't really mind if they get someone else in to sing. We'll always have what they made with Ed. It won't go away.

Also, Nick... come on, man. If you're not trolling, you really say some crazy stuff. Have a word!

I'm more and more start to doubt there will be a new singer. Maybe there will be, but still no official word from one of the three. Maybe they will go for an instriumental album in the end, or still with different singers. Their big example (Jerry) did the same, after all.
If they do some of the two above mention things, a possible future return of Ed is possible and this period can be seen as a 'Ed-less LIVE' period, in between. If they go with a new singer, then... no, the old Live is over then.

im just trying to clarify as you inferred it was Taylor. This is how things get the rumor mill started.

And to secretinsomnia, it was stated by CG that a new singer is coming in officially with the band, by that will be an official announcement when they decide to announce it.
