oh you mean the lead singer is touring with his other band that happens to do ok. GEE, perhaps they will put out a record. I hope they can find a record label. oh wait. The leade singer of Candlebox owns a record label. How convienant.
The lead guitarist, drummer and bass player of LIVE also own a record label.
and there is plenty more where that came from!

Nick, you tell me if there is any promise or upside to that stock.

Again. when in doubt - refer to "Chad Taylor is a Genius"

Owning a record label just means you have to shell out your own money for promotion, radio play etc. To me that sounds like a very risky venture.

So was starting a band in the first place for Live instead of going to college. So what? If they want to take the risk, let them take the risk, what's it to you?

little hint maybe in those names......

Oh HOLY SHIT! JESUS CHRIST! HOLY MOTHERFUCKING BAZINGA!!! KOWANBUNGA!

I do not know how to express my feelings, but I am close to a panic attack!

My cat just ran away scared and my wife jumped into the room to see if I am ok.

Damn, mate, your hint totally made my day and my last 2 years! I could never have thought of my predictions to be true!

When after a month of hiatus I thought who could do Live songs at least not worse than Ed, the only person came to my mind and OMG I thought and stopped for a second. Only 1 can fit outside the Live family

Please, god, let it be true! It would be one of the MOST interesting things in my entire life!

Hold on,l gonna grab another cigarette. can not get enough of this pure feeling that it is gonna be FUCKING ENORMOUSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If CCP's main purpose of reforming LIVE is to outsell Ed, than thats just pathetic. The rest of the post doesn't even make sense. Chad Kroeger, Rob Thomas fronting LIVE? I don't get it.

FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Owning stock in GM, FORD, VISA, Coca-Cola is also risky. However, an investor gets the package. Looks it over. They see what it takes to make money, and they make an educated decision. There is a risk like anything, but there is a reward. To this day, EDDIE K earns his LIVING from LIVE. not from his current shows. So let me ask you, how much do you think the record label still makes off of those guys?

This label is SMART. again, refer to "Chad Taylor is a Genius"

Unlike the record label that signed Eddie K. now those people should be fired!

That was their risk, asking for stock contributors is risking other peoples money(on a likely losing venture).

They're not fucking forcing anyone to do it, I'm sure people won't do it unless they actually wanted to. What's your problem with this again? I'm sure if Ed did the exact same thing it would be the most fantastic thing in the world and you'd just get your salary paid directly to him (if you aren't already).

V2 signed Ed Kowalczyk in the Netherlands/Belgium and had a chart topping album. V2 signed The Gracious Few and got an album that didn't even chart.
In the US Ed and TGF are on the same level, and had similar album sales.

Once again, you have no clue what you are talking about. Out of any label out there this one is doing things different and will make money and the bands they sign are all top notch bands and they too will do well.

How well is Ed's label doing?

So are we all just gonna sit around and start play the guessing game with names and continue speaking in riddles or are we just going to come out and say what we actually mean?

V2 is not a label its a distributor.

The label will have MANY bands. Not just TGF. This is the part that you dont get.

Successful bands with solid followings. They own their own recording studios, have some of the best producers, mixers and engineers around. They can keep costs very low when making an album. Meaning the time to profit is much quicker.

Again... its BANDS.. not band!
