Well I guess until he is officially replaced he CAN get away with saying he's Ed Kowalczyk from/of Live. Even though to people in the know, he's been sacked. BUT if he is officially replaced and Live is a living breathing, recording, touring life form again with a new lead singer, then he'll have to advertise as the former/ex lead singer of Live instead because anything else would be completely untrue.

The fact that TGF sold their shows at 10 buck tickets shows one thing. They were trying to make it affordable and not rip fans off. They dont try to sell necklaces and coffee and other things.

LIVE always intended to get back together after the westbury show. The fact that Ed didnt want to come back is because he stabbed his friends in the back and he realizes he cant get away with it anymore.
TGF is off for the summer because Candlebox and also Hennessy's other band Kings Royal had some other engagements. Again, booked well in advance.

LIVE is on their original schedule of getting back together minus Ed. but thats Ed's choice.

However, you can be certain of 1 thing. When the band LIVE goes on tour, they will heavily outsell and outperform Eddie K FORMERLY of LIVE.
Just like Van Halen blew David Lee Roth away. And Roth was a MUCH bigger personality than Ed could ever be.
And I dont care if it is Chris Zalenka, Chad Kroeger , Rob Thomas, Anouk, Amy Lee, Julian Lennon, or Chris Martin.

as much as I don't like the fact that Ed did, I was under the impression that for the most part he still outsold TGF. Not everywhere, but in most places. What do you have that says otherwise? And "I just know" isn't proof

Whether he can legally or can't legally is besides the point. My point is that currently the average fan may not know all the ins and outs and may see Ed and Live as legit on a break. If Live starts up again without Ed, I would hope that would become common knowledge to the average Ed-concert goer, there by they can't ignore the fact that Ed is now a former/ex singer of Live.

The stock or shares you speak of is for the record label. The record label will have many, many more bands than The Gracious Few. Again, please refer to my "Chad Taylor is a genius" quote.
Hmm lets see what other bands could possibly get a record deal with that label. I dont know...Im not sure if these guys know anyone in any other bands. I wonder if those guys played in another band besides TGF.

Give me a list of all of the ED K shows and venues and I will telll you each one he was outsold in. and I will give you the phone number to the clubs manager and you can call them up and ask who sold better.

Also, call up a few radio stations. Call the program director at WZZO ask her why she doesnt play Ed, aske her why they play appetite every day. Do the same with other radios sations across the county. You will get one answer. EDS MUSIC SUCKS and isnt ROCK, so we cant play it on a ROCK Station.

on a side note, its not Chris Zalenka, however if you get to see him in person performing some songs. He is excellent. The videos do not do him justice and neither does the small room he practices in.

What about Ed's "charity" too, wasn't that brought up recently that it wasn't just charity but had religious connections where anyone "saved" was then a target of religious conversion? There's something you don't hear about.

What I love still is how you defend to the death anything that Ed does, yet you still probably don't even listen to half the back catalog of stuff he was involved in. That's the ironic thing, for all the sprouting off you do about your man-love for Ed, there are people here who have lost faith in him that I'm sure have loved him for his actual musical art a lot more genuinely than you do.
