Ok, I havent been on here in a long time because I was busy enjoying the great music of The Gracious Few.

However, now that they are taking a little break and doing some LIVE stuff, I figured I would pop my head in.
Man, some of the crap I have read.

Chad Taylor, Chad Gracey & Patrick Dahlheimer are all class acts! Everything they have said is 100% truthful.
They didnt immediately go and file a lawsuit. They tried to speak with Ed, many times and Ed hid. After getting no answers from him on what was found, the only way to get them is in court. Look at any interview with Ed when he is asked about the allegations and he squirms like a little bitch! He was so thrown off in a few interviews you could tell and see it in his face.
Where they just suppose to let someone screw them over like that and do nothing?
What would you or anyone have done. In any business there has to be accounability. He didnt want to answer for his actions or make them right. So now he will have no choice.

You can bet your ass that the first few records of LIVE were done collectively in a room all together. CT has provided many of the sounds that EVERYONE has come to love.
If I say Lakini's Juice - what comes to mind. Most will say "Ruby Lou" - look behind Ruby Lou, oh that is Chad Taylor holding her and making that sound! -I can go on and on with songs and examples.

When they went on Hiatus Each wanted to do something different. The Gracious Few went off and did all original songs. Only once or twice did they do a LIVE or Candlebox song. And they never went into a venue and said "Hey look at us we are from LIVE or we are from Candlebox"

However, ED who embarked on a solo career and in his own words wanted to "do something different and expand" What did he do different? He goes to Shows and bill shimself as Eddie K from LIVE or of LIVE. He plays 80-90% LIVE songs with musicians that are not of the quality and or caliber of Chad, Chad & Pat. You can say its NOT live without Ed, however is Lakini's juice LIVE without being played by CT & Ruby Lou? Or how about Pain Lies on the Riverside? what comes to mind with that song. How about Gracey and what he does with the drums! and the sick ass beat PD is laying down! That shit is amazing right there and it was GRACEY & PD.

Again, LIVE was a collective effort on the first few albums and its no surpirse they had huge success!
Now to the next part and the fans that dont think LIVE can be LIVE without ED. Yes it can. last time I check the band was started by Chad, Chad & Pat. they brought Ed in. How about maybe Ed has his career because of those 3 not the other way around.
What if they picked a different singer?

Anyway, band that were much bigger than LIVE have had lead singer changes either from turmoil or tragedy and they have pulled it off. Van Halen, AC/DC, plenty of bands. Get my point.

Also, I remember on here when it was first anounced that The Gracious Few was formed, many of you were skeptical. I think they have proven they are great rock musicians and artists.

So instead of assuming and talking crap like some people did in the past. How about you wait until it happens, take a listen and with an open mind judge for yourself.

Until then, you can watch this video oh and by the way the guitar that Ed is playing is the same Takamine Guitar that ZMAN was playing at his house. The stupid stickers were removed. Also the same one that was used when they played with Anouk at the 2 meter sessions.
Pain Lies on the Riverside!

All Fans of LIVE should be happy and grateful you have Chad Taylor is now driving this bus. You are going to get some great things and he is going to blow your mind.
I am willing to bet everyone on here will be 100% happy.

I'm not saying that the guitar wasn't Ed's, I'm sure it was. However it's not the same Takamine that he's claiming it is, it's not the same one that was played at the 2 meter sessions.

Yes, wasn't that original one auctioned off for their friend Grunge who died of cancer? I wanted that one. I think it was a raffle and I donated to get a chance to win it.

Was that the name of their crew member who died from cancer? This was many years ago. I met the guy a few times. Very nice guy. When they did the raffle, it was the guitar with all of the stickers on it. I have a bunch of cool photos of Ed with that guitar.
