Dude did you really have to remind me of that WHILE I am eating my lunch? I just puked up spicy pork all over my shirt.

Fish, what would you word be if Adam Kowalczyk was to replace Ed and they would go under the name LIVE again?

Darn you. Now I can't get that idea out of my head! I like Adam so much personally, and artistically and vocally - I think I would be thrilled with something like that! I thought that he was in his brother's camp and was a part of his touring band. Something like that would seem to create a family rift. But if that were to happen... Wow... I just can't stop thinking about the possibilities. He could probably sing some Live songs better than Ed can. I've never seen Adam demonstrate a strong stage presence. For instance, I couldn't imagine him performing Lakinis Juice or White Discussion.

I was guessing that Adam Taylor might be the candidate. Either that or the Z-man.

Ed is not going around as the band LIVE. He is going around as Ed Kowalczyk of LIVE. Very big difference.

I hate to get back on the topic of criticizing Nick, but does anyone listen to the Howard Stern show? Has anyone else noticed that Nick seems to have the same personality as Eric the Midget? You know how Eric the Midget loves Hulk Hogan and American Idol and what is and will be commercially successful and what is not, without any sense of artistic quality. Eric loved Diana Digarmo and he would defend her to the death, no matter what and would do anything to meet her. And he is always judging things as good or bad. I'm just saying. It's kind of interesting how they both seem to be in the same chapter of the psychology textbook.

It is so odd that you mention that because I have thought the exact same thing! Wow.

and I am not bashing Ed, I am just saying..WORKS BOTH WAYS
C,C,P and LIVE will move on
we will get
Live, The Gracious Few, Ed Kowalczyk, Adam Kowalczyk with The Mint and now Adam Taylor
with his kick ass band..and lets not forget Candlebox!! any side project Sean Hennessey does
that should give us enough to all listen to for awhile,
we can pick and choose what we want to hear and what we dont...
shit, if they have any cousins that rock, throw their ass in the fire too. rockin.gif guitar.gif banana.gif

If he does not - it ain't Live huh? Wahaha! lol.gif thumbsup.gif

You know, I once again remember that bootleg from 2007 (SOMEONE HELP ME FIND IT!!) when Ed had a sore throat and Adam's mic was not switched from backing to front, but,... damn.... I remember LJ from that concert when Ed says something like "Sorry guys, my throat aches, I will let my brother help me out and do it for me. C'mon, bro!" And Adam completely tears the stage apart with roaring "LET ME RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE BURN MY EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHYEEEEEEEEEEES". Damn, I was SO impressed!

I would give 5 years of my life if adam was to front Liev and it depended on me. Best fit hands down

I say po-TAY-toe, you say po-TAH-toe... meanwhile, EddieK is no longer "of" Live.

With no disrespect to Z-man, he's a very cool guy. But people seem to be serious about the fact he could front Live. Z-mans covers are above average, it's very awesome that he got to play on stage with TGF, he's talented no doubt but he's not a world class front man. He's a talented fan who enjoys playing music but I'm sorry a Z-man lead Live is not something I'd want to hear. Passable covering, but not becoming. Again not meant to throw shit but just offering my opinion to the majority that seem to think he could realistically fill the shoes.

That being said I'm not even that crazy on the idea of Adam. Yeah it'd be nice to keep it in the family. But he just wouldn't fit right in my view. His voice is great for ballads but I still find it kind of bland, it lacks character and distinction. Great back up singer but his solo work to me is "nice" but gets dull quickly. He doesn't have the stage presence. Which in some ways is nice because he wouldn't try to over shadow like Ed did in the end. But even when Ed was behind the electic guitar early on he commanded such a presence. Honestly it's pretty unlikely anyways I mean could you imagine the riff it would cause?
Adam Taylor is more a possibility.

I'm sure these are both 2 unpopular opinions here but then again, I don't judge everything on popularity like some people wink.gif

Well, its not Zman, its not either Adam. Again, all I will say is that Chad Taylor is driving this bus. He knows what he is doing. When they pick a lead singer (not a front man) I'll say it again, when or if they pick a lead singer you can bet he or she will be the perfect fit for the band, and for the fans!
