You just won my argument for me. SS had two hits the EK can play, those 3 albums combined (you know, the ones Ed wrote) had two hits.

TDTH still had collaboration, it wasn't "The Ed Show". That being said, it's my 4th favorite.

The problem is you can't differentiate the sound of music, all you can hear is the voice of the singer.

I hate to get back on the topic of criticizing Nick, but does anyone listen to the Howard Stern show? Has anyone else noticed that Nick seems to have the same personality as Eric the Midget? You know how Eric the Midget loves Hulk Hogan and American Idol and what is and will be commercially successful and what is not, without any sense of artistic quality. Eric loved Diana Digarmo and he would defend her to the death, no matter what and would do anything to meet her. And he is always judging things as good or bad. I'm just saying. It's kind of interesting how they both seem to be in the same chapter of the psychology textbook.

Not only is it not true, but it isn't possible for you to know how many subscribers tune into channel 100. That information is not made available. Do you mind telling us how you know how many people tuned into channel 100 around the time that Live appeared on there?

Not only is it not true, but it isn't possible for you to know how many subscribers tune into channel 100. That information is not made available. Do you mind telling us how you know how many people tuned into channel 100 around the time that Live appeared on there?

Oops I had the wrong info. At the time of LIVE's appearance on Howard, Sirius had approxmiately 4.5 million subscribers. Those subscribers are spread out the entire roster of Sirius' 100+ channels and by no means were all Howard listeners. Maybe at that point 2-3 million were active listeners of Howard. For comparison, the Ellen Degeneres show averages about 2.7 million viewers and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno averages 5.7 million viewers(both shows that LIVE has appeared on).

On the flip side, Howard at his terrestrial radio peak would reach roughly 20 million listeners daily. Back in those days, when a guest was booked on Howard, it could mean a lot for their career. A spot on Howard's show has meant much less once Howard jumped to sattelite radio.

No debating the power of Idol though and they got nothing from that.

AllMusic.com is the only major music website that has reviewed all of Live's albums(Mental Jewelery to Paradiso). Secret Samahdi is the lowest rated album on that chart, while V and SFBM do quite well. It is all perspective.

V is the single worst album I have ever purchased. If that and SFBM did well and SS was rated poorly then AllMusic.com has absolutely no credibility in my book.

The single fact that LJ was on that album makes it good enough for me to say it's better than SFBM, BOP, V and LATPD combined.

I'd like to hear his all-star band play White, Discussion (with passion, not like lame ducks) because I don't think they could pull it off!
