Wow. Just Wow!

If that was the way they performed White Discussion, then it ought to be the last time. That was soulless. Zero interaction between the band. I mean serious, did you see that? Zero. Ed changing the vocal notes at the beginning, dancing around like a nerd and taking his shirt off. No energy, except for a little errant stomping. The band couldn't even stand to look at Ed.

Ed's quote when he talked int he middle of the song was prophesy. "You're the ones keeping it real, as everything goes down hill. As far as I can see. What happens next? Only the universe knows."

And so here we are. Still keeping it real. We're keeping the candle lit, my friends. Keepers of the the dimly flickering light - may it shine forever.

Listening to the song from the boot, not looking at the video, you can infer that totally Fish!!!

The prodigal son may never return!!! Perhaps only when the well is dry and all he's got is flags and mental jewelry.

This might be the best summary of the situation I've heard. Excellent quote my friend.

Then you must have never gotten the chance to see Live perform back when it mattered.

You know that part in the middle, you know the musical breakdown, you know the one that Ed ruins by not shutting the fuck up?! Yeah that one. I miss him letting the music of that part take over, letting the music of the song reign for that short amount of time. The small moments where Ed steps back, allows the other 3 guys to break it down. I miss the days when he just shut the fuck up and allowed them to play, without having to run his mouth and sound like a moron.

Eat your heart out and watch how the song is supposed to be performed...

I can't tell you what you should hate and what you should like. However, since you did see Live back when they were worth a damn, even you should know the difference between a great performance and a performance that's complete crap. Then again, you seem to ignore all of the facts and swear that they're getting back together really soon.

Man Live were a fucking amazing band. it's videos like this that make me think that if they replaced Ed with someone else, it still might be something good, but it won't be Live.
