20+ years together and one person is to blame when that one person is Unarguably the main reason for there success, not the only reason for their success (CCP also), but the main one.

It's thinking like this that bastardized Live and ruined it. The "thought" that one part was worth more.


Both Chad's have been quoted as saying they'd never work with Ed again. Both Chad's have no problem speaking their mind on the subject of Ed. Patrick always seems to play coy, but everyone knows his thoughts on it just by his mannerisms on stage. He's happy again, and you can see it in his stage performances.

Ed has trivialized the efforts and contributions of Chad, Chad, and Patrick, which is complete bullshit. He's replaced them with imposters and is parading around trying to sell his shit band as "LIVE". Anyone with half a brain can tell that it's not even close.

I think the lawsuit put the final nail in a potential Live reunion for the near future. Whatever little money they may(or may not) get from the lawsuit isn't worth killing your money making band off.

Also, lawsuits can be really expensive. They may end up losing money from the whole fiasco.

CCP, and Ed, too, for that matter, have conquered their industry and should be comfortable with their success. CCP certainly are, and Ed certainly isn't. He is a desperate fool. If you look at the facts, including but not limited to the fact that he stole from his lifelong friends, is selling his house, and has hired the cheapest garage band available to back him while he whores himself out to anyone who will pay, it's obvious. As Bob said, the lawsuit is more about principle than it is the money. Still, I'd be surprised if it was a losing venture, assuming Ed has any recoverable assets. The most ironic thing about all your input on this matter is that you of all people should be the last person to comment. A leech off his dad's money, set up by his dad to be a junior high gym teacher. That's the kind of story congruent with retards. Literal retards. Sorry, man, but it's true. I think that Live should have open auditions, so that I can try out. That would be worth a drive to York.

Alternatively, they should call Mark Burnett and tell him to reboot his show "Rockstar" with "Rockstar Live". With his recent success with The Voice, maybe ABC would be willing to pick up another Mark Burnett music show. Wouldn't it be cool to see CCP on live TV every week goofing around and judging new vocalists for their band. I'd fly out to Burbank to see that live. That would give them more of a boost and more of a chance at commercial success than just quietly starting over as Live and playing free concerts at independant record stores.

That would be cringe worthy. Sorry, but I could not disagree with this more. Probably cause I can't stand these shows. And these guys don't really have the draw and popularity these days to generate and keep ratings high for it not to be canceled very early. (if ever picked up by any network)

Seriously - Shut the fuck up. The problem is not the lawsuit. The problem is the bastard ass actions by Ed that forced them to file the suit.

I am cautiously optimistic for two reasons.

1) With this group "soon" means damn near anything.

2) That quote ("NEW MUSIC COMING SOON from members of LIVE") can mean Ed making another solo album or TGF doing something or CCP doing something since they are/were all members of LIVE. Then again, it could mean LIVE is making new music.

Still, glad to see the wheels are moving.

You were critical of Live's appearance on American Idol - how would this be any different? Both shows cater to the music fan who is more interested in looks and performance rather than musical ability. Do you really want some Chris Daughtry wannabe fronting Live? In my opinion whoever is chosen to replace Ed via a TV show would not be accepted by the majority of Live fans.

Live = Ed, Chad, Chad and Patrick. That's indisputable. If CCP want to find a replacement singer then that's fine, if they want to play Live songs then that's fine as well. If they want to call themselves "Live", well that's where I would have an issue.
