Hi Dan,

I ended up not shooting any video, because I decided to concentrate on the show.

But I was right there in the center, near the stage. My impression was this: I, like most fans who were there, had never seen live Live. And that was the closest we were going to get. So people were very excited.

The bassist and guitarist were discreet and did their job. Now the drummer... oh boy... it's so far from the spirit of the songs from Live that he played...

For me, listening Lakini's Juice live was incredible. Obviously I would prefer listen to CCP playing in the classic way. But...

Ed was really into it. It seemed that he had a good time in Brazil.

Finally, I understand the criticism about him playing the songs of Live, but given the rarity of the situation, the public in Porto Alegre wanted these classics songs, myslef included.

Thanks for sharing your experience. The crowd certainly looked enthusiastic! I think some of us who have seen the band many times tend to pick out the negative aspects of the show rather than enjoying the moment for what it is. Hopefully Ed, TGF (and hopefully Live) will make South America a more regular stop on their future tours...
