Are you seeing them this tour, Eamon?

I like this...dropping a new song into the setlist every few shows in order to gradually build a new setlist with some old, rare favorites.

It keeps us on our toes and has us excited for whatever surprises may come when we see them next.

There's nothing like going to a show and not knowing exactly what to expect, and then being elated to hear a song you thought would no-way be played that night.

Here's hoping for The Dam at Otter Creek, TBD, Waterboy, Insomnia and the Hole in the Universe, or Face and Ghost in Los Angeles on May 24th!! rockin.gif

I'm going to have an orgasm on Sunday in Cleveland no matter what, just hearing some of this stuff like Rattlesnake, Mirror Song and Iris.

Did anybody read CT's latest blog entry?

Next show, Waitress, Don't Wait, Change, Still Aroused, Sun, New City... should be fun.

You little f*ckers. To all my peeps..... Don't wait, don't wait, it's a cosmic wasteland, over and over again!!

Now, we all know CT likes to joke...and that just seems a little too unreal. But even to pull out one of those four outtakes would cause every last one of us to shit ourselves. I guess we'll find out over the next few weeks! I don't believe him, but Don't Wait seems to be probable if he's even quoting it! Let's see if he can prove me (and everyone else) wrong.

i agree that the setlist last night was F*CKING incredible !!
Mirror Song and Iris alone were worth the price of admission !!
i was in line by 3.30pm to ensure a great spot.. first row right in front of Pat (dear GOD i love watching that man play bass !! he's beyond amazing.)

anyway, i cant wait to see what suprises Boston gets tonight..
and here's hoping for Freaks or Heropsychodreamer in Philly tomorrow !

Mirror Song??? That's freakin' awesome!! Pleeease someone record these upcoming shows! Ya know I was listening to Mental Jewelry the other day and I realized that "You Are The World" woud certainly fit in with Live's newer sets. That would be badass!!

I hope Chad T. is serious, could a b-sides album finally be in the works??

Friday May 12th - Avalon in Boston

The set list was almost the same as NYC the night before except they didn't play "Run to the Water, or Turn my Head", They were Awesome! Best I have seen in a while. The sound was great! Ed and the band never sounded better! Ed was SO into it smiling and dancing- didnt look "baked" at all- The show was 1:55 minutes, What a cool place to see them, as "Avalon" is right behind Fenway Park's "green monster" . The crowd was really into the show too, Ed had them eating out of his hand , especially when they played "Dance with you" and Ed got them singing over and over- "we all want to dance with you" When they plaed "wings" Ed said it was the 3rd time they have played it live in front of an audience.

Very cool show, The new songs sounded really good as well as the old ones, Looking forward to seeing them in the fall if they come back.

Over twenty songs on all these tour dates and mixing up the setlist. No more complaining from me. Mirror song is my favorite off of Mental Jewelry. I almost spilt my beer when they actually played this one! yahoo.gif
