Live can move on with a new singer.INXS are an example who i saw yesterday in London.JD a fantastic replacement.Now he had to fill massive boots and my god he has.So i think LIVE can move on as well.really i would have Ed as lead singer but beggars can't be choosers i don't just want to see ED play LIVE songs i also want to hear CT,PD & CG play the songs as well.in the end just like INXS,Live aren't just a one man band.

I'm a huge INXS fan, and have met the band in the past as well. I don't think anyone can truly fill the shoes of Michael Hutchence. Ed isn't half the front man that Hutchence was. The charisma that Hutchence had on stage was amazing. JD might be a solid replacement, but he's not in the same league as Hutchence.

JD is aswell but in his own way.He fits into INXS so well.Last Night he well i can't put my finger on he is right for the band to move on.
I think LIVE can do the same.I love all the band members of LIVE.I'm not bothered about all this bickering about ED this Chad that it's a shame to see my fave band fall apart.I can't bear the thought of not seeing the band LIVE again.
Maybe i'm being a bit selfish by saying anyone can replace ED & LIVE can move on that's just my opinion.

No but they publicly ripped Ed, and started a lawsuit with him. In the process they shot themselves in the foot. LIVE without Ed, will very likely be a huge fail.

I'm so fucking sick of you being hung up on them publicly stating what was going on it makes me want to puke . It seems to be the only thing you cling on to and the only thing you have to justify blindly supporting Ed. I enjoy Ed's new music myself, but at least I get it. You're failure to see the big picture makes me sick.

You remind me of somebody who votes for a presidential candidate because of only one specific issue that you are simply obsessed with, even though it is the least important thing to worry about, instead of looking at everything people stand for and voting for a person who would be much better overall.

I don't think it's a big deal what they said. In fact I applaud them for saying enough. In fact I'm annoyed with Ed that he doesn't address the issue because he can't justify his actions without coming off like an ass publicly.

Nevermind all the shit Ed did to fuck over Live and all their fans who supported them with nothing but devotion and support, but fuck anyone in the band who calls Ed out for being a phoney with his "friends" and expresses their feelings about it!

Two major differences: the original INXS lead singer is deceased, and the replacement was picked from a highly publicized reality TV show.

LIVE may not be a 1 man band, but they aren't a 3 man band either.

Hoodie your post nailed it. Nicks view that CT publicly exposings ed's wrong doings as being worse than the wrong doings themselves is just demented. And before he goes on about "he shouldn't expose what isnt the proven truth" you gotta remind yourself that you don't get closer to the whole situation than CT is. If anyone is a position to comment it's CT.

The lead singer of a band is the most recognizable and hardest to replace in 99 percent of cases. Since Ed wrote all the lyrics for LIVE and much of the music, it adds to his importance in the LIVE dynamic.

Which one of you updated the Live Wiki page???

On June 8, 2011 Chad Taylor revealed that he, Dahlheimer and Gracey will be restarting the band and recording new songs without Kowalczyk. He made no mention of any potential new lead singer, but said that, "We’ll have to begin addressing the hole left by our singer’s departure." He added that "I need to feel Live once again without the constraints that were placed on it over the last few years. Chad, Patrick and I invested most of our lives to writing, recording and performing the songs of Live. We deserve a chance to reconnect with the fans to say goodbye to the old era and hello to the new.
