Ed has no plans to rejoin LIVE, 6/8/11 Interview Options

That guy used to rock. There is no Ed of 1990s. Admit it and carry on. I do not think that having a new signer will make a difference. Who knows Live anyway? So even if Ed is back Live will be an entirely new band for most of the people. What Live needs is a good voice that rocks and good catchy real rock songs.

maybe kevin should become the new lead singer of live, which CCP can foucus on while their side project TGF is on a break. Then CCP can fill in for the other members of candlebox with kevin and tour simultaneously. Then get everyone in a room and i imagine it would go down soemthing like this

Yes plenty of people know Live, but those same people also know how their music went to shit over the last 10 years of their existence. They lost fans exponentially as they released more and more garbage after TDTH.

I don't think will have much of a choice eventually. Live can still tour and make very good money. The last time they came here, the place was at capacity, actually drawing even more than STP at the exact same venue.

I think Ed can survive on his own for a while, but his draw would be much more lucrative with LIVE.

I just think that as artists creatively, they all couldn't be further apart. CCP turned and released a very very good crisp and polished rock record. Ed released a collection of cookie cutter pop bullshit music that's more along the lines of crap Justin fucking Bieber would sing. I don't think either of them are interested in playing or making music with one another right now.

Personally, I'm extremely happy with that. Live lost fans by the millions due to the putrid garbage ED started to force down everybodys throat. People can blubber on all they want about how they like it, but fact remains that the band lost at least 80% of its following because of it.

I'm not a fan of pop music so horribly written as all of the mainstream crap is nowadays. Until Ed want to come back and join a ROCK band, he can just as well in my mind go take a long run off a short fucking cliff. I do not ever want to see those three guys have to sacrifice their musical and artistic integrity to make the fucking asinine garbage Ed spits out on paper. His music is absolute fucking nonsense and I have not one shred of respect for it whatsoever.

TGF made good music that took time and artistic talent to create. Ed made music that any grade 9 poetry student could make and that any novice guitar player could play. It's junk plain and simple, made for the masses of utter simpletons like Nick, that our society has become burdened with. The same people who think Lady Gaga is the "ultimate musician!"


Pathetic. I hope CCP don't ever sacrifice their integrity again. If they ever get back with Ed again, they all need to be creating the music TOGETHER. But Ed's ego is way to big for that. He;s too stupid and blind to see that the masses of fans who loved their music deserted the band after he took over writing the music. Sorry, not interested in anything EVER again that even resembles SFBM or BOP. That music fucking sucked dick Ed, get it through your fat fucking head.

Mark my words, Live will reunite someday and it will be at the most random ass time. Somebody will probably sing Lightning Crashes on American Idol or something and from there interest in the band will be rekindled and talks of reforming will surface.
