Hoodie, naysayers are always abound... Youre starting to sound like one.

Looking logically at the band isn't being a naysayer, it's being an educated fan. I'm evaluating what direction I think this is going.

I think they're just having fun with TGF and not planning to take over the world. The more I listen to what they say and see what they'e doing the more I believe that's the case If that's what they want there is nothing wrong with that.

Check - they do have a little run going in May. I think that's what they are and that's what they want to be.

If you believe the bands long term plan for TGF is to be a huge mainstream rock band with a large following I'd say the evidence says otherwise. Their "we don't give a fuck what you think" attitude n touring schedule is what it is.

The goal is to get on a tour with someone big like the foos or another band or so. I do expect that to happen........and Mr CAG was nice enough to give some info tonight.

The Foo's would be a great show. If they toured with them they'd get some more exposure, but I think they'd do that more because they're friends with Dave and would enjoy touring with him. It would be a good time.

That would be an optimal tour for sure.

I said it from the beginning, having a lead singer who already is committed to another band was going to be an issue. Candlebox has toured the last two summers, while TGF have been put on the backburner. You can't blame Kevin, because most festivals would rather have an established act like Candlebox on their bill, rather than a new band like TGF.

If Live is truly done, maybe they should consider finding an unknown new singer who isn't already committed elsewhere. They could form a new band that could focus their tours in PA and the Northeast and probably do pretty decently. Just a thought.

It's true, Live had a lead singer who was committed to another band, he was committed to the Ed Kowalczyk all star ego solo band.

Maybe they should be able to do whatever the hell they want. But I guess whatever makes the most money is what's important right!

What issue? C,C,P obviously didn't have any issue with what Candlebox was doing, it's been public knowledge from the beginning that Candlebox would still do some stuff.

The first album isn't dead yet and I am glad they will still be touring it. It is unfortunate though that they couldn't extend the first tour while "Appetite" was gaining steam on the radio. Maybe they will re-release it as well.

Yeah, not sure why some are so apt to write them off just because they are not the biggest band on the planet yet. I thought we knew all along that Candlebox would be releasing an EP and doing some shows this summer. Yes it would have been nice if they could have rode the momentum of Appetite a little more but they also can't react they way they would on a major label. Not to mention their other interests outside of TGF, including Candlebox, Live, family and other business interests.

Didn't say I expected that. What is insane is how you will twist anything and everything to try to diminish TGF and their fans. Point is some have lofty expectations, and rightfully so. We can really only go with what TGF's expectations are though and how they navigate a tricky and newly evolving music business.
