Having TDTH and then V is like holding up a Picasso painting next to piece of wet cardboard that someone threw up on.

I think there's an old BOP thread on the board where people were saying the same thing about the album.

For me I put this album in the first time, the night it was released, and loved it. The more I listened to it the less I liked it and about 2 weeks after it's release I didn't really care for it as a whole anymore.

Personally I still like "Like I Do" and "Sweet Release".

I never thought "Heaven" was really"single" quality and didn't like it because they releeased it as a single. I think though, if it were just always a general track it wouldn't be fabulous but I wouldn't have thought of it as a song I disliked.

I still think V is by far, hands down, without competition, the worst album this band ever released.

Totally loved this album. Never was into music in highschool, more of a nintendo boy, and someone gave me TDTH which kinda became my "first album". Fast forward half a decade and i see poster ad's for Live's new Birds of Pray album. I thought, wow they're back (keep in mind i still wasn't aware of their previous work and somehow totally flew under the radar of V, again, nintendo) so i bought it and to me it was like perfection. Maybe because i didnt have anything to measure it to (what would someone who has never heard music before think of the album?) i just assumed this was great music and these guys were gods. Also i wasnt on the internet at the time so i couldnt be influenced by other opinions.

Having since explored their catalogue and been exposed to other artists now, i can see why BOP was a dissapointment, but for me it is very special and thats all i can really say about that.
