Thanks for posting this Dan thumbsup.gif

Is this ripped from an original silver CD? Sounds better to my ears that the 'supposed' FLAC posted here over a year ago.

Pretty sure he says Anchor not Anger though.

Don't know who said what guys but put me in the 'anchor' camp:

"Where is your anchor boy?"
"In God, sir!"

I don't know. All the info I have on this show in included in the text file. There is a jpg of the audio spectrum that is supposed to confirm that it's a true lossless file - but I don't understand how to read it. ssamadhi97 (the person who supplied the files) is very experienced in audio matters so I would trust his judgment.

Just bumping this thread because I've re-uploaded the concert.

You could have also bumped it because it seemed everyone missed my amazing pun here sad.gif

But once again, this is just about my favorite Live recording ever. The passion! Ed cops so much flak on this forum and when you take one listen to this recording you have all you need to understand where all the flak is coming from. THIS is what made so many of us fans. This is an absolute prime example of Live just about at their best IMO. They didn't need all those Throwing Copper albums sales to show how good they were, they were that damn good before the thing was even released.

Much love for this!

I'm surprised by how finished most of the Throwing Copper songs were at the beginning of 1993. This leads me to believe that many of the tracks would have been writen in 1992. Over 2 years before the album was released...

8 new songs performed during the tour - it would have been quite a surprise for the fans at this show...

Does anybody know whether this was a once-off thing or did Live perform a lot of new stuff back then?

Re: the recording. It's very good.. The only flaw is that on some of the tracks Ed's vocals echo a split second later on the right channel.

Its got a great sound, but it's not a "perfect" recording, but I think that adds to the raw nature of it. If this recording professionally recorded and done up for a proper release for example, I think it would lose something, the recording quality go hand in hand with the performance.

But you're right, the TC songs sound very complete. I wonder if any of the TC songs were MJ rejects? As in not that they weren't good enough, but not many songs from TC would have fit on MJ. POD maybe?
