I don't know what the statue of limitations (SOL) is for this case, but I do know that his actions could be deemed a repetitive breach of contract. t.

Its possible. But is it likely that Ed and his people would have not done their homework before having Ed set up his website business?

On Ed's site....if it was a general oversight, I am sure they would of changed it by now. I guess with the suit, they are going to stand firm on all defenses.

I nominate you BRe to get into the city and dig it up. Make sure you take your supermicrofiche negative minicamera.

i think you want to acquire a J.D. You know 80% or so people who end up in court for crimes have some kind of "mental" disorder going on. Judges end up doing their own research just so they can try to communicate effectively with these people. You'd be well received in the courtroom. Or you could get into patent law with all those medicine patents. Huge money. Good luck on your LSAT's

Ive studied law since I was a kid. Prosecutors are always cold and unlike-able, defence attorneys are always hot-headed unconventional quirks who descend into rambling speeches that land them in hot water with the judge and pull out the star witness out of nowhere at the last minute and Judges are ALWAYS temperamental older types who blurt out things like "I'll allow it" and "Get to the point" and ''I'll see both of you in my chambers now"!

oh and the good guys always win. nothing more to know.

I might do a fellowship in forensic psychiatry one day. No need to get a JD to work that aspect of law. I actually come from a long line of lawyers, so this thread is a joke for me. My dad has made a hell of a living doing it, but not without years of uncompensated sacrifice and uncertainty that doctors don't have to deal with. Medicine is more grueling in a lot of ways, but I will always have a well paying job and that can't be said for lawyers. Thanks for the good luck on the LSAT, but I wouldn't need it if I wanted to take it. I could go to any law school I want.

Still, I ask my question, especially of you, Bre: how many of you wannabes are actual lawyers?

A license from the state doesn't establish all knowledge of the law, it's just the state's permission to practice it. I'm knowledgeable, to a point and have experience with law and court but no I am not a lawyer.

I'm also not a plumber but I can install a new faucet.
I'm also not HVAC certified but can install a new thermostat

A brilliant guy such as yourself should know that 'the state' isn't the greatest at assessing one's knowledge in any field.

Ah, the post modern concept that all ideas are created equally. Well, they aren't. You aren't a lawyer, you haven't had any formal legal training, and therefore you have no ability to even know what it is you need to know. Before my training, I would read WebMD and all the other shit online and thought I could hang with an MD, and I have to laugh at myself for that today. Come back and start giving legal advice when you have at least one day of law school under your belt.

So long as you have absolutely no follow up questions, then, I'm a lawyer.

Yea Harvard/Yale/Stanford? I am a 1L. Ed's Answer came out right around my orientation. It is tits that I have such an interesting case to check up on while I learn this shit. Just finished up pre-trial motions and discovery in Civ Pro, which I assume is where the Live case is at.
