Ok, I would eventually like Ed to come to his senses and for the band to reunite and write music together as a four piece again.

There is a chance that will never happen. If so, and CCP want to continue LIVE.......
who would you pick to replace Ed?

Would it have to be someone that could sing the old stuff similar to Ed?

Would you want someone totally different?


I'm still thinking....i'll post mine later.

If they HAD to reform Live without Ed? No one, just make an album of kick ass instrumental rock music. It's that coffee loving folically challenged cheshire cat, or no one.

Wow, what a question. I will play along.

I'd be interested to see what Brett Scallions could do with certain songs. I think Myles Kennedy would do well.

Donald Carpenter has a deeper voice than Ed but is pretty dynamic. Used to be in a band called Submersed.

I think Ian Thornley would be interesting. I like all his stuff and he can sing anything. Not sure he would be down to sing through the old LIVE catalog though. Between his genius and the genius that is CCP, I'm pretty confident they would make an incredible album.

Dude, Chester did a NICE job on I Alone. I'd never seen that until you mentioned it. He would be a very interesting choice. I'd like to see what he could do with CCP.

Wouldn't mind seeing KM have a go at the LIVE material. Would be interesting to hear his interpretation.
