Bono can go much higher.

Listen to "Lemon" and you'll be changing your mind.

Just listened to it. First of all don't like that song. Secondly, Bono is singing in his falsetto. Any man can sing that high in their falsetto. That's what Bono has to switch to, to sing in that key, whereas Ed can sing very high comfortably in his natural voice.
I'll just give examples from one album- do you honestly think Bono could sing FTQRR, DWY or even dare try to sing Sparkle, especiallly the longest note that Ed holds at the end of the song. No he could not, he'd only embarrass himself. Ed just has Range, baby! singing.gif

I bet you Ed can't sing "Bad" or "Red Hill Mining Town".

Ed's voice cracks alot when he tries to go high, or it ends up sounding like he did on that VH1 version of Mystery, just so thin that it's embarrassing .. but he CAN hit those notes at times and when he does it sounds really, really good .. but it seems like a toss of the coin for each recoring you hear wheather he'll be "on" that night or not.

Bono just sounds like a wet turd.
