Like they did for TGF. This is proven method of success for C C & P

As much as I love TGF, can you imagine how great it would be if Live made a new album and toured like they did with Mental Jewelry and Throwing Copper. I would literally go out of my mind with enthusiasm. I also think that they could have a commercial come-back like other bands have after a decade of commercial dormancy.

Fish, it certainly would be good, they can keep both projects going too. It seems to be what most bands are doing today anyway. Keep it open and flexible. Now do you really think it will happen?

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but all the closure I needed was found at Fat Daddys when TGF walked out on stage and rocked.

Yeah the fact I would only want Live back under such specific circumstances means that I'd probably more than likely be disappointed. I'm happy waiting for the release of these unreleased B-sides and outtakes they promised and more TGF stuff.
Ideally Live would eventually reunite under the right circumstances, but im not holding my breath.

It is impossible for me to listen to SFBM and Alive and believe that would actually happen.

If they reformed and brought the house down with rock and brilliance, it would be one of the biggest turn arounds in history.

Jesus Fucking Christ!

Why do board members here insist so regularly on taking the fun out of general conversation by being so damn nit-picky about stupid details. Is that all you have to add - a pointless comment about terminology due to an assumption that I am attacking a member of the precious TGF?

"Sigh" indeed.

You do not know the extent of my knowledge of psychiatry. I am aware of what Bi-Polar is. I am not seriously implying that CT is manic-depressive.

Sorry you takee offense you have to get technical and cannot have fun by reading between the lines. How about if I say he made a 180? Would that meet the approval of the website definition master?

Man - this conversation is so much fun now.

Bi-Polar? What is that, an ice machine? Manic-depressive? What is this, 1981?

I do know your knowledge of psychiatry, and it sucks. Stick to what you know, son.

I agree with that seeing them rock out to about 20 of us in Toronto. But meh, it's their lives and their bands. For some reason I don't really care. If they do get back together with Ed and make a killer album then awesome. If they don't and they make another killer album in TGF, awesome. If they can do both? well double awesome I guess. But seeing them on stage (well, even before when I heard the album) Live just didn't really matter to me. As in Live's future. Obviously the first 4 albums will go to the grave with me. But then again, for many of us here Live didn't matter much in many years and I guess TGF sealed the deal with the whole "I finally moved on"

Would suck if they killed TGF just cause they kissed and made up with Ed. For one reason. Sean. I mean he's a kid and rookie in the business compared to them so I' sure TGF is a step into a dream coming true (yes I know he's already a guitarist in candlebox but that's more as a touring one and without much creative input) So here he is rocking out with these guys and then one day it ends even though they made it sound like it's a long term thing? shitty. BUT this is only a thought I have, I'm not saying this will happen (and I hope it doesnt) but hey, it can and has happened before. It is happening and will happen in the business.

Oh shit. I've been working 7 days a week so I thought that reunite Live thing was be a fan or something ( Ya I don;t have facebook or myspace or myface dont care for that shit) So it's Live ( CT I assume ) asking to get Live back together. Now I really don't know what to think. A lot of things on both sides now smell of Bovinae excrement around. Meh... let's see where this goes.
and I goes back to listen to the new PTH album

FWIW, Sean is actually a full-fledged member of Candlebox now. They haven't done new promo pictures in over a year and it happened since then (not sure when).

But, this Live stuff... meh. Just watch the recent video of Ed performing "Top." If you can watch that and still think this would be a return to the original sound of Live then you are just kidding yourself.

I hate to, but I have to totally agree with Nick on something. Ed doesn't have any reason to get back together with Live outside of maybe a little more cash. Whether you think what was said about Ed was justified or not, the guys slammed him hard. It seems he is doing okay as a solo artist, he certainly looks happy. He also can play the Live songs where ever he wants, and he does that every chance he gets. While a lot of us hate that, there are people out there who are gobbling it up. That's his audience, not us.

I'll give CT and the guys credit and hope that they are genuine in wanting a reunion and that it could be driven by sincerely missing playing the Live material. As a musician I certainly get that, and I've even reunited with people on stage who severely screwed me over. But, if it does happen and they end up playing a "Live greatest hits" tour then based on everything CT said, I can't help but think it's just a cash in. He regretted become a "legacy band" and that's all a greatest hits tour would be.

Either way, how about releasing that b-sides disc? We all don't need "new Live" when there is so much history left to discover. If this "reunion" talk is just a way to promote a b-sides release then that is a little better, but it still makes very little sense to me.
