I don't think the timing is right for this. I'd love to see them play again but not if Ed is still the same as he is now.

I'm fine with Ed being the way he is solo. I understand he's older and has experienced more than he had back during the early to mid 90's. But he is just to much about himself. LIVE was the best band in the world when it was about the 4 of them. I don't think Ed will even be able to see what he's done to the band for a few more years. He's still defensive and thinks he did nothing wrong.

Maybe in a couple of years he will have a different perspective. Until then, we have TGF and Ed solo.

Sounds to me like CT has his passion for LIVE back, something that had been missing for the last 10 years. If there is any begging it's for Ed to be sensible and set the ego aside for the greater good of LIVE. Doub't that will happen so I wouldn't get my hopes up. I don't think C,C, and P are foolish enough to do anything with the Ed circa 2009.

Maybe if they didn't publicly rip Ed and announce via CT's blog that they were filing lawsuit against the guy, they wouldn't have to practically beg fans to convince Ed to return Live via Facebook.

I think we'll see them together in 2012. Wrap up the spring/summer/fall touring, get off the road, and get down to the business of Live.

Dude, you're seriously daft.

Why is it that you're so concerned about how CCP did to Ed's image, but don't ever seem concerned whether or not Ed did what he was accused of? Moreso, you don't even seem to be a +Live+ fan in any capacity. Why are you here? Why did you buy this website and run it for a period of time? Why?

Ed nerfed +Live+ and the only way to correct the path is with the cooperation of Ed.

If all you care about is EdKo Solo then you should just delete your account and troll the forums on his website.

What CCP did publicly regarding Ed was a good thing. It was transparency and communication with their fans. The fans accepted that information. You, who is clearly not a fan of Live, was bothered because it was the truth about your idol.

I for one am happy to see 3/4 of the band interested in keeping their fans happy.

Maybe if they weren't so passionate about their band and lifelong friendship with Ed, they wouldn't have been so hurt with the direction he went. Maybe if they weren't so grounded they would let their egos cloud their judgement and there would never be a chance of a return of Live. Still need one more to get on board.

Id Ed really did what CCP said, well... he should be sooooo thankfull that CCP (or at least Chad T) feels the way they do... The fact they forgive what he did... well damn, they must have really heart for music to see trough it. So Ed, act like a man, and take the opportunity they give you.

Ed kinda blow up Live. Now he must do something back, and that is being cool 90ies Ed again. Accept CCP's inviation to come back to Live and perform Hold Me Up like there's no tomorrow. Period.

I just hope they do it for the right reasons. Not because they feel like the "owe" it to the fans or anything like that because if they do it out of a feeling of obligation then chances are it is going to sound uninspired and forced.

If they do it because they love/miss the music and each other then I am all over it. If they can reconcile with each other then the music will take care of itself.

Anyone else feel like the music of LIVE sort of contradicts this entire situation?

Pretty bizarre. I think, if we get a form of LIVE where CT is in charge of the direction, then it will be SICK.

There's no point reuniting (not counting touring) if Ed will be the same old 'downfall' Ed.

TGF is the bomb, better music than Live has made in 12+ years, and showcases the talents of some incredible singer songwriter musicians eh!!
