Wings to be 2nd single in Holland Options

As of now Wings is only the single in the Netherlands. A totally different market than the US. I bet the song will do well.

It won't, this song is far from catchy and i don't think it will reach higher than 20 on the top 40.
Show or Get Ready would be better choices.

Live made a new album - "Waaah, it sucks, it's too simple, it's too happy, the lyrics suck, it's nothing like my favorite Live album they made 10 years ago!"

Live improved the setlist - "Waaah, it sucks, they aren't playing the obscure tracks from the middle of the album they released 10 years ago that is my personal favorite and I think they should re-learn and play for me!"

Live will release Wings as the second single - "Waaah, it sucks, they should have released something else, although I can't really say what because I don't like any of the songs and I still think they should have released Like I Do!"

Other people love this album - "Waaaah, they suck, let's shout all thos people down and call them stupid!"

"Waaah, Ed can't write songs anymore, the band is lazy, the label sucks, the management sucks, the setlist sucks, the album sucks, the band doesn't sound like it did 10 years ago!"

You know what I think? I think you are all fucked in the head and you should either stop shitting all over the band or go find another band to enjoy because Live obviously isn't doing it for you anymore.

I agree that there is way too much bashing around here, but you can't generalise that easy. There is still worthwhile info on the board and people who care. I've learned to ignore the people posting just negative shit in the hope they'll ever get tired of it.

As a huge Live fan of 15 years I'm shocked at the negativity on a Live fansite no less.

Although I strongly feel everyone's entitled to their own opinion, the negativity is exactly why 'us' people who actually DO love/like the album have to stand up and stay positive...
That's what I'm gonna do anyway...! And there's no use in trying to stop me..haha !

Besides, that's what being a 'fan' is all about isn't it? You don't have to like EVERYTHING your fave band does, - I don't either - but generally, being a fan means that you feel connected, in a positive way, to their music.. right?

like u i also dislike the fact that certain people bash the band (make very negative comments), but the 'tongue in cheeck' ones i don't mind, and i'm sure they wouldn't mind either.


and what 'wings' concerns, i for one think it's a really good choice, sure it's not my all time fave on the album, but it's a good song comercial wise!

That's funny because I seem to remember you were the one telling people they were close minded idiots for NOT liking the album. Why is it so hard for you to just let people have an opinion that differs from yours? I'm tired of people telling me what I should and should not be able to say. I am not trying to convince anyone to hate this album but I would still like to be able to voice my opinion without getting bitched at for it every fucking second.

agree. And because we love the band, and want them to continue being a success because, there is a stronger chance of a band breaking up when sales are poor.

That's exactly the reaction I got this morning when I was in the car with my friend, SFBM playing in the background, and we were just chatting a bit when se suddenly keeps quiet (while listening to Wings) and says: "That's a great song.. what band is this?" (I hadn't told her, because she's not really 'into' Live, but I think she might be now!)
