I'm not sure that last summer's Creed reunion was a failure or whatever KM said but Tremonti and the rest of those guys never intended for the Creed reunion to be permanent. They did that while Myles spent the summer touring with Slash.

I'm not a Creed fan, but I think their reunion tour was relatively successful. Their album debuted #2 on Billboard and they were able to fill a good number of ampitheaters around the country.

Kevin Martin doesn't like it when fans talk trash about The Gracious Few on Facebook or FansofLive, but it is okay for him to talk trash about his peers in the music industry when they aren't there to defend themselves.

I just don't see how that was talking trash. He is obviously friends with the band since Tremonti called him to come and try to talk to Stapp. None of what happened with Creed is a secret so he's not exposing anything. I think he was just giving his honest opinion.

And how would Stapp or Weiland defend themselves anyway? They both were the downfall for their respective bands. Heck, Weiland has done it in a couple of bands.

What was your consistent line about the Ed/Live situation, wasn't it something like "there are two sides to every story"?

You are hearing what you want to hear. If KM is what you say he is, and Ed is who I (and his former bandmates) say he is, then hands down I would rather support a lead singer who talks a little trash than one who steals money from his band mates.

See what I did there?

Don't you know that lead singers are untouchable? It was clearly the fault of the other guys in the band.

There are two sides to every story, but Kevin Martin talking trash on public radio about fellow artists is pretty clear cut. If Scott Stapp got on the radio and began talking trash about Kevin Martin, I'm sure certain members of this board would be in an uproar.

Scott Weiland and Scott Stapp aren't perfect, but they both have achieved more success in the music industry than Kevin Martin has. To me, Kevin Martin talking trash about other lead singers screams of insecurity(tearing down someone to feel better about yourself).

once again you fail to comprehend rational questioning and honest answering. He wasn't trash taking, he was anwering a question based on what tore bands apart. No bones, no malice, simple deductive reasoning.

You are really delusional man. KM is far from what shit you spewed above. You're really puching your ticket buddy.

I happen to think that the word of 3 individuals, a court document, and the ultimate dissolving of the band Live is pretty clear cut evidence against the bald one. I imagine that you don't agree, right?

Same way with this supposed "trash talking." It isn't as clear cut as you want it to be.

But, kudos for at least not ignoring the post, even if you failed to comprehend it's meaning. And before you keep arguing, I don't even care if he was trash talking. I'm just pointing out your hypocritical double standard.

I'm really just confused that anyone could follow the careers of Stapp and Weiland, and then think that those two pieces of trash are even worth defending. This makes no sense to me.

However, I can totally see Ed doing something like this to make some cash, so maybe that's a piece of the puzzle:

Firstly, it depends on what they are trash talking him about. If it's a blanket statement like "he's an asshole" then yeah people probably would be in an uproar. If they trash talked with a story and such then people would probably think about the situation.

Oh, so because they have achieved more success then obviously they shouldn't be touched. You and your fucking measuring stick of success. Seriously dude, you are mental.
So any time you've ever had anything negative to say about someone it's because you are insecure? The fact that you're ripping on KM means you're insecure? I bet your answer will be no to these questions. Guess what then, the answer to why KM is ripping on these guys is most likely also nothing to do with insecurity. Oh and guess what, KM has also achieved more success than you man, you should lay off him because of that yeah? I guess you are insecure, going by your logic anyways.

Cause he drew a parallel to another singer who messed up his bands. I don't think anyone can dispute SW's demons. I don't think KM was picking on him, again it was the situational answer in regards to a question. If you listen to what BD said, KM didn;t clam up. It's not his MO.

Who is currently the most successful living person in music? Paul Mccartney? Imagine the shit he can get away with in Nick's eyes!
