Certainly is, but you and I knew what these dates meant from the get go. rock4 as well. Instead of mr know it all posing it as a question, he makes his argument sound as a fact and to throwing more BS on the ever pile of BS on this board. Read the history of SJN, you'll see much BS.

He doesn't care who Ed plays with as long as they worship the ground he walks on. He only want's Live to reunite to prove that C,C,P were wrong and that they can't survive without him.

Festival dates (which are what they are playing) are often tied to contracts with radio stations. They sponsor the events and put together the line-ups. Often those contracts are put together years in advance for established bands (Candlebox commits to playing a festival in 2009, 2011, etc). It has zilch to do with having singles on the radio.

In the case of Candlebox, the band isn't broken up so why not do a few festival shows?

Okay cool. I'm sure most people didn't know that(I certainly did not). Whether this dates were booked years in advance is definitely up to debate though.

Not true at all. I just think there would be a lot of excitement around an eventual Live reunion tour, and the band would draw great crowds around the world.

Come on man, you've tried to discredit every reason they would have for a reunion. Even non Ed fans have said they would welcome it if they buried the hatchet. You've insinuated that C,C,P clearly must need the money and any reunion by them would be disingenuous. Your attempts to continually prove that are ridiculous.

Once again that's all that matters. Drawing "great crowds". Dude most people don't remember who Live are, it's not gonna be like Led Zeppelin getting back together.

"Dude LIVE are getting back together!"

"They broke up?"

"Yeah man a few years ago"

"I'm hungry".

After the horrible things Chad Taylor said about Ed last year, the fact that he is willing to speak with Ed in July about a possible reunion makes it seem a bit fishy.

Which makes it just as fishy when you pretend to be interested in Live, TGF, or Candlebox.

I've seen Live 45 times in concert, so yes I'm interested in Live.

I generally check many artists who are touring, so I know about artist touring schedules way beyond Ed, TGF, or Candlebox.

Get real. You only care about Live as it pertains to Ed. You have an open disdain for CT, CG, KM, TGF, and Candlebox. You only care about them as it pertains to Ed too.

Look, I can't stand the Ed fanaticism from him either but we all know if we stop engaging it, it'll just go away.

Go away? I haven't been on this site in months and it's the same old shit. I opened this thread expecting info on Candlebox/TGF only to read about some far flung idea about a Live reunion

You are absolutely right. Ed lovers have scared away Live and TGF fans alike.

The current lineup of Eddie and the Kowalczyks doesn't count.

Your understanding of the music business is impeccable.

You know, I didn't look at who started this thread, and I was pretty excited because I thought Candlebox and TGF would be doing some dates together. At least re-title the thread to what it's content really is.

I'm just posting in this thread because I like the use of the word impeccable lol.gif
