Candlebox Summer Dates Options

If I can't attend Live shows, neither should the Ed haters. Seems easier if we all just attend what we want to attend and enjoy ourselves.

I'm just saying if Candlebox is touring, there is a possibility that Live may get back together. The only reason they don't if the wounds run too deep.

From what I can gather, and I think most of you would agree, the wounds run very deep. It ain't happening.

I actually would have a really hard time going to a Live show if they did get back together. My disdain for Ed is so great at this point that I honestly think I wouldn't even enjoy the show. So I guess you can count this "Ed hater" out. Unless things changed vastly within the whole structure of the band and how they function and make music. Of course, the chances of it actually happening are so slim that it's not even worth discussing at this point.

Yeah, these Candlebox dates are not a surprise. I remember Kevin mentioning it to a group of people either in Cincy or Columbus that they were going to be doing some one off festival shows this summer. I dont expect it to impede on TGF's 2011 plans.

Now I just have to decide if I want to go down and tape them in Louisville. Funny finding out Candlebox news on the fansoflive forum. Our official message board got shut down. There is no Candlebox online community anymore.

But that being said, all the other conjecture nick says further shows he must be Ed's mouthpiece.

I think Nick should not attend any potential future Live shows if they ever happen. His disdain for TGF is amazing, especially when it's been proven that TGF has 1000 times more appeal than Ed's music and will outlast Ed's appeal for the same old rinse & repeat.

For him a Live show is just Ed and a backup band, so Live and Ed-Solo are all the same to him.

This is the exact reason live2. It's been stated before by KM. Nick starts a TGF thread to try to cast doubt when he knows shit. All he is a puss filled boil.

It will never happen - ever.

But, if (hypothetcally) the group lets Ed on stage with them then I could go to the show becuase that means they've buried the hatchet amongst themselves.

I wouldn't view it in the same light again though.

No it's not. What if CCP just want to kick back and do other things while Candlebox does a few dates? What if they want to work on other projects, maybe organise some other TGF stuff or maybe work more on the Live gift. Or maybe spend time with family? Or maybe go on a holiday? God there could be many reasons why they don't hastily put live back together for a few dates just cos candlebox is doing something.
You seem to put way too much emphasis on frontmen in bands. Your god-like obsession with Ed is creepy. Just because Kevin is doing something else for a few days doesn't mean CCP are running around like headless chickens. I'm sure they can cope fine without running to a new front man to get then through this very rough patch.
